This is my favorite Checkers. All growing up & traveling the southeast this is one of the better options. I admit there are rough times to choose to stop here, but more times than not, the food is good & folks working are pleasant. The prices are great, service is always good, and for fast food it is quite tasty. They must be doing something right since there is almost always a line of cars there. The burgers and fries are my go-to, but I'm also a fan of the funnel cake fries. The one thing that draws me in even though I've eaten somewhere else is their ice cream. My husband prefers the vanilla, but for me it is all about the unique swirl, made with strawberry instead of the more common chocolate.

Other than the chicken wings, it’s hood fast good for a decent price. The wings are outrageously priced and the burger patties have excessive salt, but other than that a good place for the money.
