“They were fabulous in service and setting for my book celebration party!“

“Was driving through Chamblee after playground hopping with my 2 boys on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Was looking for wings and the reviews for Moondogs were great. Our experience did not start off well at all. We sat and a few minutes later another couple sat. The places wasn't too busy and I know the servers saw us sit down. The other couple that sat after us was greeted and served 1st. Another 5 mins passed before we were acknowledge by a server. This really rubbed me the wrong way. Our server finally came by and greeted us. We had been waited long enough so I went ahead and gave our entire order. I split an order of wings with my 10 yo and my 7 yo had a bowl of Mac 'n Cheese. The MnC is literally just the box variety you buy at the grocery store. The wings...thr wings were OUTSTANDING! Definitely some of the best I've had in a while. I hate that my 1st impression is of us sitting for almost 10 mins before any service. Due to that and the fact that it's a Packers joint, I wont be back anytime soon.

“Great place for a quick meal and some adult drinks. This is a small quirky restaurant with only outdoor seating under a roof or under numerous umbrellas. Nice lighting, staff and music. Now the food…. A very unique selection of sandwiches and Delicious!! We had the Chicken Caesar Pita with chips and Korean Cheesesteak and potato salad. I think this would be a fun place to meet after work. Trivia is offered on Mondays.“

“I adored my experience at this cocktail lounge! So much so I will be returning today. I took myself here to toast in remembrance of my brother's passing 9/19 marked 2 years. Ashlynn (hope this is the spelling) was super sweet and helpful in my drink selection. The music playlist was very delightful and I can't get enough of Desiree's skill set with the cocktails. I felt welcomed and the setting was definitely fitting for my occasion. Thank you Anansi!!“

“The atmosphere was super fun and unique - we loved the skeleton character seen throughout the menu and branding, as well as the eclectic and cool decor found throughout the restaurant. Not only was the restaurant full of character, the menu was full of unique and delicious items too. From a classic wedge salad, to the unexpected sweet and sour chargrilled pork steak, and the lemon-cornmeal cake for dessert, everything tasted amazing; every plate left our table completely cleared. To top it all off, the drinks were delicious too! Perfect mixes of flavor and the right amount of buzz, we could not be happier with our experience at the Ticonderoga Club.

Every staff member was friendly and courteous. Big shoutouts and thank you’s to Franny, our server, who was super attentive and gave us fantastic menu recommendations, as well as Greg for making our experience extra special (as well as being one of the folks we can thank for bringing this place to life).

“Although the dining area is small, the food is what is of most interest here! The wings are only one of the stars at this small, unassuming eatery! I tried the sweet and sour wings, which are made to order, and from what I've heard, their lemon-pepper wings are the stuff of legend, as they have been featured in Bon Appetit' twice! I also enjoyed their Lamb Biryani, and it was absolutely delicious! The lamb had a spicy kick, and the rice was flavorful and tasty. Will definitely be back for other dishes!“

“We visited The Red Phone Booth on 6/15 while in town for my cousin’s graduation. What no one knew was that I had just placed my mom on hospice and we had lost a cousin the same day—her sister and my mom’s baby sister were with us. Even in the middle of all that pain, we were shown such kindness. Sophia was amazing, and I even played pool with a member who didn’t know I could barely hold a cue. We didn’t look like what we were going through—but that night gave us joy we truly needed. Thank you for a beautiful experience. We’ll be back. ❤️“

“I've lived just down the street from this place for years wondering and I can't believe I waited this long. The atmosphere was uniquely beautiful. It's quiet without feeling isolating, and dark without being encompassing. The service was some of the best I've ever seen. Anthony and Evan were on *top* of it all night. The food was absolutely incredible. One of the best chicken thighs I've ever had and they did a knock up job with the prime rib sandwich.“

“I really really want to love the Ranger Station. However I can’t say I absolutely love it. The atmosphere is great and has so much potential but with its size it tends to be very very loud with their music and their live music. Their drinks are good and have great potential to get better, they tend to use a lot of pineapple in most their drinks. I would go again to show visitors but it’s not my top place. However if you go you should definitely try their house infused vanilla chartreuse!“

“First time visiting Roshambo. This place is like the ultimate neighborhood restaurant. The food is of exceptional quality and the service was great. Ambience is warm and very inviting. We sat at the bar and I felt like the attention was exactly what we expected. We had the disco tots and I would recommend those to anyone. Truly a good comfort food. My wife enjoyed the fish tacos, and I had the cioppino and both were perfect. Finished off with the crème brûlée, which was spectacular. This is going on our list of regular hots for the future. Highly recommend!“

“Went to this place wanting to love it which speaks a good bit for how big of a letdown it was. Night started out great host was super friendly came to pick us up from 9 mile station, once got in the bar god first round of drinks and that's where it started to go south. First round was fine no issues, ordered second round and it took almost an hour to get drinks, so once second round came out went ahead and ordered third knowing how long it was taking (was told bar was backed up due to a bachelor party that showed up of 5 or 6 people and there was probably only 20-30 people in the bar so didn't really make sense given the number of people on staff) second round I had heard about how the bartenders will make you a drink based off your taste which was the main appeal to this place ,so first drink was a maple old fashion, so second drink I told them I wanted to get something else based off maple.....they served me the exact same drink with a different brand of rye but added a $3 freestyle upcharge....finally had enough waiting after 2 and a half hours and only getting 3 or 4 drinks and actually went up to the bar to ask for the check since had gotten really burnt out on long wait times and the long stretches of I just want another drink....overall last drink was by far the best and would have liked another but the speed of the service at that point had totally killed the mood. Place 100% does not match the vibe they are trying to present so highly recommend going elsewhere which is sad because loved the concept“

“We sat on the terrace and while the view was lovely, it was a chilly night and the short space heaters just didn't do the trick. We all thought the more common taller heating elements would have worked better. The steak and sauces were tasty and the frites were divine. That said, don't think I need to go back.“

“The burger here was damn good - well seasoned double smash burger with sweet potato fries. We were a little shocked to spend $50 on a burger, fries, a beer and a whiskey but we missed that gratuity had already been added for us. Overall a good experience and a fun spot!“

“Lantana has always been my go-to spot, especially because of Wendy. The service is consistently great, the food is always delicious, and the drinks are a perfect 10 out of 10. I’ve been coming here for years, so I was a little disappointed not to see Wendy this time. I actually decided not to stay because, honestly, I’m not familiar with the other staff.

What's better, the menu is constantly changing, so there is always something new to try. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the inside has a very cozy, intimate feel. Extremely cozy - the seating is incredibly limited, so we would definitely recommend having a reservation. We can't wait to return again!“

Excellent main dishes halibut, herb crusted lamp chops and filet. Healthy options available for vegetarians too! Great salads. Servers and fire dancers were an added bonus because they were fun and very friendly/helpful. (Managers could be friendlier.) Overall restaurant ambiance beautiful and eclectic. $25 fee for bringing our own birthday cake a bit ridiculous! Parking convenient $4 Parking fee expected but offers convenience to customers. “Barrel Room is a nice relaxing place to get a drink. I ordered the Manhattan and a Old Fashioned. Both drinks were made perfectly. Bartenders was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant and even got to talk directly with the owner/head chef Bill! If you are in the area or even if not make the drive, it will be well worth it!!! Neighborhood where it is located, Inman Park, is very nice as well with lots of walk-ability and less than 2 miles from downtown Atlanta, so make it a day or weekend trip.“

“So, my amazing boss treated the team to Kitty Dare for our holiday dinner. It was so amazing- I couldn’t get it off my brain so I came back tonight (two nights later, lol) to eat it again. Now, when we went as a group, we were served family style apps and entrees. We had their hummus, Greek salad, and an eggplant dish that had a nice kick to it for starters. Dinner was salmon over coucous, rice cakes, grilled asparagus, and amazing airline chicken dish, their 8hour bolognese, and one other dish I can’t remember but all were incredible. Came back tonight for the pistachio and pea hummus and again- that bolognese. Yummmm!! If you haven’t been, you’re missing out! Special place for any occasion“

“Tabby was in town and in usual Tabby flow she was exploring the atlasobscura website and came across The Consulate. As such, we decided to go. We had reservations for 06:15 on a Friday. Arriving about 20 minutes early as traffic happened to be light, we were able to be seated early without any issues. Upon entering the restaurant the hallway decor captures your attention as you focus on the selected hues of blue and artwork placement. Upon being seated we were immediately greeted by Cindy. Cindy arrived all smiles coupled with a huge personality and warm welcome. As this was our first time she took a moment to explain to us the menu selections, geographical inspiration, as well as answer the few questions we had about select items. Cindy’s education of the menu and experience with the foods added to the food deciding experience. Major shout out to Cindy. The ambiance of the restaurant is high energy, captivating and explorative. As you look around the restaurant it puts you in the mindset of being inside one of the classic true to theme castles in an Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider movie. LoL! At any moment Laura Croft could walk in and grab one of the items on display and head out for her next mission. LoL! I decided on the String Beans with a side of Mexican Rice and I was more than satisfied with the flavor profile of my meal. The string beans were flavor stacked with the slight sweet from the sauce and the spice from the peppers. The texture was spot on for a true sautéed experience as well as the portion was perfect… The Mexican rice paired well with the string beans as it provided a texture variation as well as it was seasoned well but not overpowering in comparison to the string beans. This was truly a 10/10 experience. The service, the environment, and the food were all superb. Whether for a personal 2 person dinner or after work friend vibe, The Consulate is truly a must try for any occasion.“
