“Sub Base, in the early 90s, was the absolute best sandwich you could get. Fresh baked bread piled high with all the "fixings". It's been a long time since I had the opportunity to re-visit the place (35 years) and I gotta say... DAMN IF They Don't STILL HAVE A GREAT SANDWICH!! The current owners, for the last 14 years, Not only kept the Sammy the best but they added Dandy Donuts. AND THEY ARE KILLER TOO! Hot and fresh just like the sandwiches. Treat yourself and stop by this iconic spot as soon as you can but get there early. The line moves quick but they close at 3. ENJOY!!“

“For the certified authentic Vietnamese Cuisine, this is the BEST than ever. Not only their fresh bread but also their other food and drink. Flavor and portion of dishes were so good! “Authentic viet sandwiches, packed with flavor and doesn’t skimp out on toppings and meat, which some banh mi places do. We ordered bbq pork (#8), regular pork (#9), beef (#14), and combination (#16) sandwiches and all were amazing!!! It’s a bit of a drive but we’ll worth coming here, it’s hidden in a shopping center so people typically miss it but you have to come and check this place out! They also have side dishes as well like egg rolls (they were good) & drinks to go along with your sandwich. Quick service and friendly people, the owner Huy is a sweet older gentleman who takes your order and helped gives us the recommendations for a couple of the sandwiches.“

“Location does a brisk business every time I've been here. The staff have been nice and are prompt in making up food orders. There's a decent amount of space to sit - I could see it getting crowded during weekday lunchtimes given the volume of people in the area.“

“What a great experience. Needed catering for an event for 145 individuals and Jersey Mikes came through! The store manager Leyana was amazing.They packaged everything so well and delivery was on time! Sandwiches were fresh, packaged with a cookie, condiments and napkins. Great for easy clean up. We were also able to order gluten free and vegetarian option which was a huge plus. Highly recommend for catering. The guys who delivered were also great!

“Portions are small but you are in the city perimeter. Drinks are delicious, our cocktail came without ice which was a nice change and allowed us to taste every component. Food is really yummy but again if your starving maybe considering grabbing yourself an appetizer like hummus. You MUST get a cookie they are only $2 :)“

“I tried this place through catering and had to go try the real restaurant. I got the chicken salad melt with the grape salad and it was great. My sister got the chicken salad sandwich with pasta salad and a scoop of Dixie chick on the side. My son got a spicy pimento cheese BLT and he enjoyed it. And we ordered a trio just to try even more flavors. The crispiness of the croissant melt was the very best. They actually mixed up one of my scoops and gave me the wrong one so I didn't get to try the one with the pineapple so I was sad. We ordered chips and it was perfect. Our least favorite was the pasta salad and our most favorite was the grape salad. The cake did not taste like white chocolate and it was okay.“

“Subway is cool and quick on the weekend when you don't feel like cooking and the bread here is fresh. Personnel at this location are very friendly and fix a decent sandwich. I always tip at the counter so not happy that tip is automatically added via this new system unless customer dictates otherwise.

“This place has been standing for so long with an owner here for about 2 decades and the service, food, atmosphere, still excellent. This place is no subway. This place is beyond subway.

I just had the best turkey sandwich I’ve had in a while. With fresh bread, bright, fresh vegetables (not a single vegetable dull in color similar to subway has now) and HAND SLICED TURKEY (yes, this is freshly sliced turkey right in front of your eyes, not precut) and a great variety of chips and drinks, I was very satisfied.

The attention to detail is amazing as even the sauce was drizzled perfectly on the bread, not just doused into your sandwich like subway. This is one of the last Blimpie’s in town with a very kind owner, and like all sandwich shops I have been to for the past while, the quality never caved with inflation.

“Go to Subway instead of here. Less items to place on your sub. I didn't get what I ordered after saying it 3 times. Only four items to put on subs, plus you have to pay extra for cheese. Employees had attitudes like you were a bother or they didn't want to be there. Subway is much, much better. JM subs are longer, more expensive and not as filling; less veggies than SUBWAY.“
