“We had our first, and way overdue (!!!), time at Gene’s and damn we were we blown away. The food and drinks are second to none - indulgent and fun from apps to drinks to full plates and sides (we ate a lot!) Katie took care of us and she was the best - nailed the recommendations. Our favorites were Bushwacker, Gene’s Salad and Philly (special).

You must have big mama, aunt ruby, aunt Myrtle, and all the members of the church motherboard, in that kitchen cooking! I'm talking about the mother board from the " Hold my mule, standing on The Rock of jericho, Apostolic, christian missionary., won't he do it, blessed and highly flavored, the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, pentacostal, holliness church of Josea L Williams drive! I was at my place of employment and could not leave today for lunch. So to my surprise one of my tenants visited your restaurant today for lunch and she was nice enough to bring something back for me. She brought me back some beef ribs, collared greens , and Mac and cheese. From the first bite down to the very last everything was spectacular.
There are quite a few barbecue spots in the city of Atlanta that are good. But Georgia Boy Bbq cannot be touched! You can taste the time that was spent preparing each and every dish.
You can tell that the restaurant owner and his staff care about the product that is being sold. Thank you for being excellent at what you do and most definitely, I have found my new barbecue spot. The portions are a wonderful size. I couldn't even eat the entire plate myself. I had to put the rest up for later. “I had a craving for barbecue, so i visited Pig-N-Chick. I ordered the rib plate and was pleased with the taste of the food served here. The customer service was amazing. The staff is friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is pleasant (the music is great). I recommend this establishment.“

I understand how to create irresistible atmospheres, hospitable service and consider myself a foodie as I intermittent fast daily and eat once a day. My meals are important. I have now found not only a place in Atlanta with a fun and inviting ambiance with over the top service but also the absolute best BBQ restaurant in Atlanta, DAS BBQ! Thus far, I have had the BBQ Pork, Ribs, Brisket, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Mac N Cheese, Das Corn, Brunswick Stew, and Banana Pudding and IMHO the most important aspect, which is the meat seasoning and the sauces. No offense to my friends in the biz but DAS, hands down, has the best of each of these items! I live on the southside of ATL and gladly will drive for more DAS BBQ. The food is fresh, they smoke all their meat daily and they use locally sourced produce. They have a full bar. We shared the OG Salmon Chips - house smoked salmon, chipotle cream cheese, red onion & capers on house made potato chips (piucured) they are a little pricey at $16 for 5 servings but are piled high with fresh salmon so we weren't disappointed (they were great). We also had a Garden Chopped Bowl - (thick cut) house bacon, hard boiled egg, corn, red onion, tomato, avocado, bleu cheese and added Pulled Pork (pictured). Very good, highly recommend!“

“My husband and I love to find a good Brisket sliced bbq. While on the job my husband had lunch here and came home (an hour away) bragging about how good it was. Beef tendon skewer. Sweet and sour pork. The 1664 blanc beer. The assortment of drinks offered is very good. Great service. Hime made kimchee is a must order. I want to come here one a week forever. I ordered the Combo 1. I got to try their pulled pork, sliced brisket, pulled chicken, fried okra, and Mac. The pulled pork is very tender with flavor. The sliced brisket has the most flavor but it is pretty tough. The chicken has decent flavor but better texture. The fried okra was extremely good. I would come here just for that. The Mac is decent. I like their assortment of BBQ sauces. I mix the sweet with the heat.“

After executing a search on Yelp, I came across GQ BBQ and we decided to pull up. Y’all know I love me some BBQ. Upon arrival, the location was super to find as it sits on the main road. When pulling into the parking lot there is parking on both sides as well as parking in the back. The outside was clean and vibrant. We knew we were in for a treat as we were able to smell the bbq before even getting to the restaurant. Yes, the power of a good aroma to captivate the sense of smell. 😜 Heading inside, the location kept with the vibrant color on the walls as to draw your eyes to the menu. There are ample seating options as well so if you desire to eat in as we did, there is indoor and outdoor seating. Taking some time to review the menu, I decided on the Rib Dinner with Baked Beans, Collards, and I ordered two orders of cornbread as well and decided to not get the white bread that comes with the meal. To note, the cornbread is an extra charge. Once our order was placed, we took a seat and enjoyed the games that were playing on the televisions. As we were engrossed in conversation, before we knew it, our food was ready. I retrieved my plate and headed to my seat. The moment I opened that plate, my entire life smiled. After being enticed by the aromas, I was now overtaken by the visual presentation of this meal. As I opted for the sauce on the side, I was able to see the ribs in their naked state and capture the full fragrance of seasoned pork without the coverings of sauce. Babeeeeeeeeeee, GQ BBQ showed off with this meal. Let’s talk the food: Ribs: well seasoned, tender, meaty, minimal gristle, the right amount of fat for a nice chew, great portion size as the dish comes with ribs and rib tips. The sauce was an added layer of joy. I opted to mix their Gresham blend with the Sweet and my mouth had a full mouthgasm of robust flavors, joy, and excitement. These ribs were the absolute bomb with or without the sauce. Baked Beans: perfectly cooked, well seasoned, fresh. Collards: well doctored, tender,perfect pairing for the ribs. Cornbread: absolute gold status, perfectly sweet, cakey with a light crumble, buttery, golden baked, worth the extra cost. The cornbread is slightly small, so I would suggest getting three. LoL. Overall, GQ BBQ was an amazing experience. The ribs dominate the meal as they should, however, the sides compliment the ribs very well. The entire meal is a 10/10 and I will be back very soon for another order. Though I live nowhere near GQ BBQ, I will make sure to make my am way back a few times a year to have my soul fed and taste buds tantalized.“

“I enjoyed this restaurant. I went for lunch and while I paid $3 for hot water and a teabag, the bibimbap box was $15 and came with three small sides, a soup, and a salad. Korean food is delicious, but I've definitely had it just as good for cheaper at other places. Service was fantastic and I'll definitely be back to try more.

“On that side of town so stopped by. My daughter and I tried several items all were good. My favorite were the ribs and the potato salad which had a unique smoky type flavor while still capturing the great taste of a good southern potato salad. Everything was fresh tasting and will definitely be back. I don’t love on that side but it’s definitely worth the drive“
