“The owner is very friendly, always welcome us with smile and treat us like a family. It feels like we are going to friend’s house to have quality time. The place is cozy and quite to enjoy some quality time eating delicious Ethiopian and American dishes and drinking strong Ethiopian coffee made with love. The price is very reasonable.“

“I heard about The Black Coffee Company from someone this morning because they knew I was looking for a space to do some work with good coffee. I immediately drove over and when I tell you Crystal made me the Killer Mike and she made it a little sweet for me and Brianna topped my taste buds off with the avocado toast with everything on it. This is my new favorite spot. The music is great, not too loud that you can’t work but just right. I highly recommend them. They are a whole vibe.“

“Really enjoy this place. The atmosphere is peaceful and cozy. The baristas are excellent people who know their products but also have interesting backgrounds and talents. I have enjoyed a few conversations on lazy days with the folks working here. The coffee and tea and the elixirs are all delicious and I highly recommend. Parking is easy. Either park in lot or across the street .... Gillys also has events they host but I don't see them posted on FB... I usually just ask at the counter.“

“It was lovely. The coffee was wonderful. It was a great size for the cost. I also got a brownie, which was moist and perfectly chocolately!
I went there to have coffee with a friend and to enjoy the outdoor area. I was able to sit outside with my dog. She loved it...the natural area is wonderful.
The only negative is that they had some kind of musical event while we were there. So it was incredibly loud and we couldn't really hear each other. I wish that we had known before and could have picked a different time.
Wheelchair accessibility: The outdoor seating is all natural. So, it is bumpy and full of leaves and things. If you use a mobility aid like me, be prepared.“

“Mokhaport is a coffee shop featuring Ethiopian and Yemini coffee and teas. They also offer smoothies and food items with a sizable quantity of Halal, Vegan, Gluten-Free, and Soy-Free offerings. The majority of their food is made in-house. Mokhaport has an intimate seating area with Wifi and a generous number of electrical outlets. Mokaport has some of the best customer service for a coffee shop. The owner is friendly and willing to answer questions and provide recommendations regarding the menu offerings. You are actually provided a sample of your coffee/tea item before it is finalized. My go-to drink is the Dirty Adani (Sweet Yemini Chai with a shot of coffee) with brown sugar and oat milk. Pro tip: save your receipt via text, which makes it easier to duplicate your beverage order once you have found the perfect drink. I visit this coffee shop every time I am in the area, as the coffees, teas, and service are impeccable. I am looking forward to trying the smoothies, cheesecake, and some of the savory food products like the beef patty and cheese pastry.“

“The atmosphere is the draw, it’s a charming little spot to spend a little time with someone you like. Also often see people studying there. They have a industrial chic decor with some interesting choices such as a vintage motorcycle. The expresso based drinks are delicious. 2nd best cortado I’ve had in this city and a very good Chai latte. The location is also fantastic if you want to walk over to the beltline or just explore edgewood ave.“

“This place is very cozy and the cashier was so nice! The banh mis are made fresh so it does take a little longer but it’s so worth it. Everything is well balanced. Bread was fluffy and crunchy. The Vietnamese sauce compliments the juicy crispy wings. No dipping sauce needed for their wings. The grilled pork banh mi - get the pate added and it’ll set it off. The pork was tender and smoky. They have sugarcane juice which was the best refreshing drink for a hot summer day. It’s a modern Vietnamese fusion spot that actually does it right. It still tastes Vietnamese but in a different way. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend!!“

“What can I say about my new favorite spot other than it is cozy, warm, and inviting. You may spend some time in line due to its popularity, but the attention to detail, friendly staff, and delicious coffee are worth the wait. I will be a Valor customer as long as I live in the area. Thanks y’all!“

“Coffee is good and service very friendly (altho a bit expensive). The problem is the parking though. I entered the validation code but got a letter a week later demanding I pay $87 as a fine for not paying parking. First the validation didn’t work. Second I will not return to any of that retail if that’s what the parking lot tries to extort from you for if someone does make a legit mistake and not pay. Places like the Battery, Avalon and Atlantic Station don’t do that. Even the city of Atlanta parking ticket is less. It’s sad as I like a lot of the restaurants there. But enforcing that kind of parking ran me off. Silly.“

“Go for the coffee, stay for the mushroom quiche. Theres a certain level of expectation that comes from neighborhood coffee shops in nicer parts of Atlanta, sure. What's not necessarily expected is people who enjoy their job and who serve exquisite morning pastries. This mushroom quiche took a normal morning at a coffee shop and turned it into a memorable occurrence. I will now crave this pastry in the recesses of my mind: it has forever raised the bar for breakfast dining. I recommended to the very nice owners that they keep serving this pastry.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of well behaved kids when I was there. They fit in just fine.“

“LOVE the Vibe in this perfect outdoor space that fills with everyone in the neighborhood (pets included!). Such a delightful place to chill and catch up with friends. The service was exceptionally friendly. They even recommended a perfect vino to share between the four of us; it was Croatian! Epitet🍷. Utterly delicious and enjoyable.“
“Love what they're doing for the community and I enjoyed my tea from their cafe, as well. 😊“
“This may not be a "sit-and-work/etc" coffee shop - only two very cozy window nooks to sit inside + some limited outdoor seating - but that is truly the only trade-off with Academy.
The coffee program rotates beans regularly to different roasters, the specialty drinks are varied and well-rounded, and the folks behind the bar are huge (coffee) nerds in all the best ways. Highly recommend just standing at the bar talking coffee while you sip, if you're into that kind of thing.
Oh yeah, and then you realize you're not only in a coffee shop of incredible quality, BUT ALSO A BUTCHER SHOP?!?!!! That means the banger breakfast menu is being sliced/chopped/cut and prepared fresh right there before your eyes (and the eyes of the pig head they just wheeled in). They carry locally sourced and freshly butchered cuts of everything from chicken to cow. Great example of slow food: local-sourced produce and meats and ownership that cares about the community they're contributing to.
Simply the best.“

“I have visited this place a couple times and I really like it. The baristas are great at their job and it seems like really care about providing good service.
What really struck me here is how good the food is. I was kinda shocked as I always thought of food as an afterthought at most coffee shops. I have had The Deluxe and The Crunchwrap and they are both phenomenal. They feel like full meals and not simple add-ons to go with the coffee.
Highly recommend.“

“On a mission to have breakfast today, without waiting in a long line, I stumbled on a jewel in the former location of soul food restaurants, Deacon Burton’s/Son’s Place in Inman Park. The Breakfast Burrito, Salmon on Toast, champagne, etc., were delicious and Complimentary!! Unbeknown to us, restaurant was having a “private intro” to the community and a staff training event. Melanie (Owner/Host) welcomed us in like we were family. Her husband Micheal was so excited to hear about my many visits to Deacon Burton’s. Can’t wait to go back. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️“

“I recently hosted a wine tasting at a Couples event. D7 Lounge is nice! The hostess set up a nice and intimate vibe for couples. The food was good. Of course I had some great wine. I was appreciative of the cute set up she provided for the wine tasting. The couples enjoyed painting and a superb saxophonist. Great event. The lounge was clean and decorated very nice.“

“I generally enjoy going around to different coffee shops because each one is always a vibe on its own. Today I tried Paramount Coffee. I loved the ambiance inside of the cafe. L For me it's always a plus that a cafe is well lit with comfortable sofas and space. Menu is affordable, and it's a lot to do in the city of Tucker. It's the perfect place to study and enjoy a quiet moment to drink some coffee. Will be coming back“
“The Dirty Tea in Atlanta is a hidden gem and I am so thankful for this experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the ambiance that seamlessly blends modern elegance with cozy intimacy. The aesthetic is stunning, with plush seating, soft lighting, and botanical accents. They have such a unique array of tea blends paired with delicate pastry’s and savory bites….and to top it off, the service was impeccable. The staff made me feel welcomed and pampered. Thank you! I will definitely be back the next time I’m in ATL.“

I haven’t been back to ATL to get any in person but I’ve ordered several hauls during quarantine and it’s been a perfect treat in a really tough time. Make sure to try the Masala Chai with Oat milk ❤️“

“Clean, bright coffee shop with plenty of seating. Came here to kill a little time and enjoy a latte and some cold brew - both were really delicious. The chocolate croissant they had available was really good, too.
I have to give a shout-out to this place for two reasons in particular:
Prices are fair! Since COVID, I can't help but feel like some shops have taken advantage of the situation with inflation to really gouge their customers. Not so with Kula!
Second: they don't default to disposable cups if you're having your drink at the shop. Soooo many places have taken up this practice over the years, and it's honestly really disappointing that so much plastic and other waste isn't a concern to them. The fact that you can enjoy your drink in a real cup or glass just enhances the experience for me, and I think Kula deserves to be commended for it.
Great job to everyone at the shop! I look forward to coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone searching for some coffee in the Buckhead. Don't even consider that overpriced garbage at Starbucks - come here for your coffee instead!“

“Nice coffee shop. A little pricey. The service is just fine. We waited for our coffees about 15 minutes. They missed the order or something, I had to go to them and ask where’s the coffee. The employee said “I’m gonna make it now” - after 15 minutes passed. The food arrived maybe 25 minutes later after we ordered.“

“I needed a location to meet with a colleague and what is a meeting without amazing coffee? During my search Java Lord popped up and offered hours that fit my needs. As such, let’s talk about my recent visit. The location sits towards the rear of the high traffic area which is perfect for finding parking. Upon walking in there is an assortment of treats that capture your eye. The ambiance of the location is super chill and artsy. The paintings on the wall are not only amazing but they are for sale as well. Talk about a win win! Being this was my first time I wanted to go outside of my usual coffee order. I decided on the Coffee of the Day with a shot of Almond and Vanilla. The Murder Blend has a smooth Coffee taste. This is the perfect blend for someone (such as myself) who enjoys the authentic taste of coffee. As I love a good Dark Blend. This Medium/Dark Blend allows the roast flavor to be very evident. The flavor profile has a heavy body, and the flavor is prominent but isn’t spicy and has the authentic bittersweet tang, subtle chocolate and caramel flavors, with hints of smokiness. Yeah! As you can see, this is a perfect coffee for any moment of the day… The flavor shots are strong which pair well with the heaviness of the Murder Blend. The young lady who helped me originally was nice, however, as she wasn’t as much of a coffee drinker I was unable to get her take on any of the other blends. As such, I will be back again to be surprised by the daily blend. Overall, this location is great for a break from a busy day, a chance to meet with friends, or even a quick business conversation. All of the aforementioned will fit in this location with any blend of coffee.“

“I’m typically not a big fan of donuts, but The Salty has both a beautiful ambiance and the best donut I’ve had, the Brown Butter & Salt! Plus, their coffee is actually fantastic (and I recommend dunking one of the donuts in their coffee for the full experience).
Not to mention, both Krog Street and The Beltline are right outside. It makes for such a beautiful start to the day - breakfast and a walk down an aesthetic, very safe stretch of the Beltline!“

“I found this place after a long night of travel delays & cancellations, and it was everything I needed. I ordered a mocha latte and chocolate croissant and they were both so good.
