“Very pleasant people who work there and understanding. Had a beef patty with coco bread. By far one of the freshest and best coco bread I've had in my life. The manager let me know they bake it fresh there and it shows. Will be back for more. Also they have all day lunch specials with a good portion of meat and rice.“

“Had lunch here today and it was amazing ! The Mac & Cheese was fabulous and the staff is very attentive. The chocolate chip cookies are like no other I’ve ever tasted ! They’re open Fri, Sat & Sun this week and adding Thursday next week. A fabulous addition to the Alpharetta food scene for sure! The patio is beautiful too. Highly recommend!“

We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and laid back Christian reggae music playing in the background. If I lived in the area it would be a regular spot for me. “Cool spot. Grateful to get made to order food and drinks while skating. You could just go for the vibes or both. They had a great variety for the drink menu. I felt the prices were reasonable. The food menu was pretty good size with a good amount of options. I thought the food was pretty good. I didn’t like the sweet potato it’s more personal preference i prefer yams /chunks in syrup. I’m not a fan of the mashed sweet potatoes. The server / bartender we had tall black male was cool very professional and friendly. Definitely would go back and support this establishment again.“

“I LOOOOOVEEEE THEIR FOOD! The jerk chicken is absolutely AMAZING! ITS THE BEST JERK IVE EVER HAD! The flavors will make your taste buds explode! I've been eating from here for the last 3 years and I've never been disappointed! The owners are always nice and the patties and plantains are delicious! These people have the BEST sweet plantains, I've been to other places and nothing compares!
Also the prices and portions are beyond reasonable. I normally eat off of my plate for atleast 2 days!“

“Yo I have been looking for good wings for a minute now. Atl used to be the wing capital. Not the wings are trash. VIP HITS HITS!!!! THE CAROLINA GOLDS ARE WHAT THE GAME BEEN MISSING. And you know a good wing spot when someone like me tried extra extra hot 🥵 (and I don’t super hot like that at all) mouth burning but the flavor of the sauce popped harder than the spice. I t was so good and so hot I still asked for another one to switch out with and she wanted another of my golds. This place it’s def the divest wing spot as far as flavor and wings period, also I keep hearing about their jerk. I think the make their sauce from scratch because the y are beyond good. “I ordered the oxtail meal and I really loved the flavor . I haven’t had a good oxtail since I was in Indianapolis at Jamaican Breeze some 3 years ago. I’ve travelled to different states and ordered this dish and this is the first time I was really impressed. A lot of restaurants don’t use the butter beans in the oxtail dish but this place had it which was awesome . The cabbage was okay I wasn’t feeling the seasoning on them. The rice is delicious. The one thing that I didn’t like and I find that a lot of Jamaican restaurants do this is they only gave me two plantain . Now like I said a lot of Jamaican restaurants only serve 2 plantain with the meal but these plantain were very small . I feel like if you’re going to give me the end part of the plantain which is small compared to the middle at least throw in an extra piece . Photo is provided to show what I mean .“

“BEST gotdamn rice and peas I've had in a long while. I get it with ox tail gravy and I also get the cabbge. I mix the two. It's super good. I tried the ginger drink that's made in house and it's reallly good, almost better than when I juice myself. I'm not one to write reviews if I do it's because something is eitehr that good or that bad. This is that good. I live down the street for years and work in the area and never knew they were there. Glad I found this place.“

“This is hands down some of the best food I’ve ever tasted in my life. I discovered this place while looking for food options in an area I just moved to, and it popped up with nearly five-star reviews. I remember thinking, How does a restaurant with ratings like this exist here and I’ve never heard of it? I knew I had to try it.
From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by Chef JP, who was incredibly kind, warm, and friendly. The food looked amazing—fresh, hot, and full of flavor—and I couldn’t wait to try it. He even let me sample a few items, which I truly appreciated since I’m very particular about what I eat.
I’ve been pescatarian for almost 10 years, but this year I added chicken back into my diet after becoming a new mother and breastfeeding. My nutritionist and lactation nurse recommended more protein, so I made the change. The fact that this place offers both fish and chicken options is a huge plus. They even have turkey wings, which I’ve never tried before but am definitely planning to try next.
I was blown away by the portion sizes, the value, and most importantly, the freshness and taste of the food. Everything was incredible. I literally sat there thinking, This is my new go-to spot. I’m a great cook myself, but finding food this good—especially in a new area—is rare.
This place is truly a hidden gem, and more people need to know about it. I told Chef JP I would leave a review, and here it is. He deserves a 10-star rating, but since Google only allows five, just know that everything was a 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.“
