“We decided to check out Virgil’s on the spur of the moment while we were in Atlanta… from us entering the door, manager Nassier made us feel welcome and thoroughly explained the menu. Once we were seated our waiter Brandon did an exceptional job taking our order and keeping our glasses full… the atmosphere was great and it experience was like none other…I can say this was one of the best if not the best dining experiences…“

“JenChan’s is a friendly neighborhood hangout with an amazing menu, friendly waiters, and a wide selection of games. The food is always fantastic and the drinks are always strong & cold. I would recommend the ginger margarita slushies, the fried mushrooms, and any of the pizzas!!!“

“I had the incredible pleasure of the Miller Union experience last Saturday. I run a small nonprofit meal ministry program in Gwinnett and I am a colleague of your Executive Pastry Chef's mother. Being from industry, but now serving in a different manner, I must say how satisfying it is to know that considering the major challenges presently in the restaurant industry, you have built a culture of service, professionalism, precision and family that is simply impossible to find. You were flawless on that night. I claimed time out of my busy schedule to treat myself, I didn’t have a reservation but was granted the best seat in the house, at the bar, on the corner, right at the service area next to the ticket stabber and the printer. You might ask, why that seat was so great... well, for the first time in 35 years I had no responsibilities being that close to the start and finish of an order. I knew I was in the right place to do something I'd never done before and that was to take my hands off the wheel and allow the environment to take control. I asked, who I believed to be the Sommelier (sorry can't recall his name)to order for me. Of course he would line me up with the best wines without sacrificing my mortgage payment, lol by my request, but I kept eyeballing those Sailor's Greetings passing by and had to inquire. The Bartender was "straight fire" and gave me the scoop... a reduction of muscadine wine!!!! WHAT!!! Anyway, the Pork Belly, the Field Pea and Peanut Salad, all amazing. When it came to the entree I had to pump the breaks on the house choice... I saw Collard Greens with the Pork Loin... being born and raised in the South, I had to know. The moment of truth, Wow! Okay I had to look this... Unicorn in the eyes. Now it's Saturday night so I didn't expect Chef Steven Satterfield to be present but low and behold, he was there. I couldn't see him because he was doing what he was supposed to be doing... Driving the Bus! So after an awesome experience thus far and a visit from who I believe was the FOH Maestro, Neal MaCarthy, it was on to the reason I was there… to experience the offerings of Chef Claudia Martinez. Her team did not disappoint. Again I left it up to the BOH and BAM!!!...the Doughnuts!!! Just phenomenal. So I wrapped up and called for my car and on my way out I was saluted by GM Vince Landi and informed Chef Satterfield had a moment and he was kind enough to greet me. Needless to say, I was honored and proud of know our industry's best days are ahead of us. Thank you Miller Union and Chef Satterfield for a night to remember and for continuing to carry the torch. “Atlanta is renowned for its southern spice chicken, and this place is no exception. I stumbled upon it on a whim after reading countless positive reviews. The first impression was like stepping into a gas station kitchen. We ordered the half bird all black, which includes thighs and legs, with a medium spice level. To complement the chicken, we also got coleslaw as a side.
The service was prompt, and we received our order in no time. The chicken was simply incredible. The spice blend was perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of heat. The skin was crispy and golden brown, while the meat inside was juicy, fresh, and tender. It was one of the best fried chicken dishes I’ve ever had in recent memory.
Every bite was a delightful combination of the spicy, crispy skin and the juicy, tender meat. The flavor was well-rounded, and I never felt any spice overpowering the taste. The medium spice level was just right for me, not too spicy or too mild.
Overall, this place is a must-try for anyone who loves fried chicken. It’s a hidden gem in Atlanta that you won’t want to miss.“

We ended up here for dinner on a Friday night on a trip to ATL after we missed our initial reservation at a different restaurant - and I’m so glad we did! “My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. When I left this restaurant I took a picture and posted on Facebook, telling everybody I know about this fabulous time at this place and they got to try it out. The service, and my waiter was a 10 .plus“

“Super yummy. Food to rave about. So so good. I got the bottomless coffee. I was in the mood for pancakes with fruit and the photos looked good on google. I got the pancakes with bananas and pecans. The syrup was hot and everything just melted in my mouth. I also ordered the shrimp and grits as it is a southern specialty. I wasn't super impressed with the dish in the past at other restaurants, but the photos looked promising. Bluebird's shrimp and grits with cheese was savory, with slightly sweet shrimp, great texture, and I loved the dish. I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all but still wanted the experience and to try it and took the extra to go. The decor was eclectic and whimsical. I loved the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend supporting this business or bring friends here. You can't get food made like this in a chain. Glad I chose to stop here today. There is a 20% tip added to the bill so expect that when you go. I normally tip at least 20% anyway and tipped more this time.“

“My husband and I had an incredible dining experience at Georgia Boy. Every course was amazing and the creativity of each dish blew us away. We were sent home with delicious Wonka style candy bars and gave one to our daughter Georgia (who is a huge fan of the Willy Wonka movies) and she was in awe! We will definitely be returning!“

“The other day I placed an order through DoorDash for some beef tips w/rice, and 2 sides but my order was wrong and DoorDash refused to give me my money back. I called Big Daddy's Soul Food to let them know and Big Daddy himself made sure that I got my food fresh and hot as he had one of his employees deliver it to me. I always order from them when I don't feel like cooking and I am truly grateful for that moment. I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent service you provided!! Great customer service!!!“

“The Beautiul IS a soul food spot that is having its challenges regarding their staff which affects the quality of the food right at the moment. “I Was Completely Blown Away At This Restaurant. I Was Sat By A Beautiful Host Which Turn Out To Be My Server. Renisha Was Very Knowledgeable About The Ga Craft Beers. She did an amazing job by explaining each item on the menu. I Gave Her The Opportunity Of Ordering My Food and Beer. Oh Boy She Did Not Disappoint. I had the Blackened Catfish with rice and beans and an Orange Still Diva Beer To Drink. It was her two favorite items and I had no complaints! Renisha service was the best service I have had in years. My water cup was never low and if I had more time I would have had another beer. Renisha Was Very Patient With Me Even Though The Restaurant Was Very Busy. She is also a team player and is willing to pick up the slack from others. As A Restaurant Manager Please Give This Server Her Flowers, She Deserves it !“

“This was a step up from the typical hotel restaurant. Appetizer and main courses were very well prepared. Shandi was our waitress. She was professional and had a very friendly attitude and smile. The DJ playing in the lobby chose some great tunes that we enjoyed during dinner. I recommend this restaurant.“
