“Located in Home Park we happy to see that the location was not difficult to get to. There was a parking garage around the corner however there is complimentary valet service which is always a relief. The dining room has several rooms with different views my husband and I were sat in a room full of windows which was nice. My husband and I were in for our anniversary and decided to try one of the new Michelin recommended restaurants. We came for a 5:30 reservation and left close to 8:15. The service was decent however there was several times that we said " ummmmm where is our waitress?" But I think the staff does a good job of working as a team. We started off with some drinks I got the Miller Time ( a nice light and refreshing gin cocktail) and my husband got a beer. We were very impressed with the beer menu they had lots of our favorites and was certainly a nice treat for him. For starters we had the hush puppies ( cooked well, with a chutney on top and a nice creamy sauce underneath), The Farm Baked Egg( a staple to the restaurant, deliciously creamy with outstanding sourdough toast) and, the Local Lettuce Salad( I really loved how the ingredients were the star of the show with this salad. It was by no means underdressed but it was well balanced enough that you could enjoy all of the in season veggies), for dinner I had the Pork schnitzel( I was a little disappointed by this one the sauce was unlike any I have ever had and was heavy on the citrus while the collards were difficult to eat because they were so tough, the pork itself was pretty standard although, I had always thought schnitzel was supposed to be pretty thin this was not. The dish was highly recommended but I think it just wasn't for me) my husband had the duck leg ( which was cooked very nicely and he was very satisfied with the overall dish) for dessert we were gifted some glasses of Prosecco ( very sweet to include for our anniversary) to go with the vanilla cake( very moist and was paired with island flavors), the lemon bar( pleasantly bright with a raspberry sorbet and grapefruit mouse. I loved everything about this dish there was so many bright puckery flavors but it was not overwhelming.) and, the Dessert cheese course( lovely selection on cheeses the only thing that was off to me is the strawberries were not sweet at all.... It was a little sad). I also ordered a cappuccino which unfortunately had no foam on top paired with their hazelnut liquor which was very good. All in all it was a good experience.“

“I went to location across from the Aquarium. From the hostesses to my amazing Server Janiece, the entire experience was awesome! I had the Chicken and waffles and they were good. Both hostess (didnt get her name) and my waitress Janeice recommended the peach cobbler. Having never had peach cobbler I got it on the side. The chicken was flavorful and had nice crunch to it. The peach topping was nice. I cant wait to go back and try the chicken and biscuits w/black pepper gravy. 10 out of 10 from overall experience.“
“Tried out this place based upon the reviews. It looks like a little hole in the wall kind of place. I was hesitant to go inside but I am glad I did. The special was bq chicken, which gives you a half a chicken. I also ordered corn on the cob and mashed potatoes with gravy. The meat peeled from the bone and was so tender. “The service was excellent, the server Freddie was very patient with our party of 10 to make sure all our orders was correct. And the food was delicious. The only thing that they really need to work on and improve is that they need to be able to give individuals their separate ticket. It makes no sense to anyone that if you have a Party of 10 or more they will only give one check for the whole table and only take a card not cash. Now that part just is not welcomed.“

“Over the NSBE50 Convention I made a reservation for about 40 people, all from Canada to meet in Atlanta on Friday March 22nd. We had amazing service from amazing waiters and and waitresses. I wish I could remember their exact names, I recall them having a K in them, two wonderful young black waitresses who were very patient with us. They made for an occasion I'll never forget and fostered growth in our little Canadian bubble without even knowing it. Amazing place, food, and even more amazing people!“
“Stopped by G. Garvin’s Low Country Restaurant on my way from ATL to Orlando. Although everything looked and smelled great, I tried the Shrimp & Grits with a side of garlic green beans. I almost never finish a plate of food the size of what I received (it would have normally been at least 2 meals)! But, it was so wonderfully delicious, I ate the whole thing between the waiting area and the plane! I couldn’t wait to return home to ATL, and prayed I would return to the same terminal! I did, and picked up another order—this time with a side of broccoli—excellent again. I still got a 2 piece whiting and a salmon over rice.Well, after shaking off the initial disappointment I got to the food.The whiting was fried and seasoned well and there was a great portion. There was an abundance of tasty crinkle fries. A little too crunchy but it was good.The assuming baked salmon was very good. The salmon was cooked to perfection and not overcooked. The glaze was good as well. The yellow rice was also seasoned and cooked well although it could have been a tad more tender. The greens were super tender and seasoned well. The food and the customer service saved the day and stopped me from saying 1 and done.I’ll be back when I can verify they have all the advertised sides!“
