My wish for the northerners that are all now in Georgia & especially migrating to North Georgia…IS THAT THE ONLY PLACE you will come close to the REAL NY/NJ style pizza & pastas is Brooklyn Joe’s I’m Dawsonville. Not only that, but Jacob who is the manager goes above and beyond to bring you the BEST dining experience for you & family. I had given up on Georgia for REAL Yankee pizza…until now. The comments on political $h&I! on TV…is just ? & obvious. Enjoy your meal here if your visiting or moved to the surrounding areas. Georgia has so much great food already. Happy that Brooklyn Joe’s can offer a taste of the North.“

“They had power when it went off yesterday so we went to this new restaurant for supper. We had General Tsos chicken, crab rangoon, egg roll and egg drop soup. Everything exceeded expectations except for the soup. Have never seen tofu in egg drop soup before. Get rid of that and I'll give the food 5 stars. Service was good and the place was nicely decorated. Prices were quite reasonable too. Check it out!“

“Love, Love, Love, this place! The ambiance is calm and peaceful. The staff is beyond lovely! They are always so welcoming and kind! When you go, you must try the cocktail "The Gibson" and the Mushroom gnocchi appetizer! Literally to die for! I make it a point to return at least a few times a month!“

“Julio and Claudio made sure we had a great 70th birthday experience. They put the sombrero on the birthday "boy" and brought the lit tray of 70 candles we snuck in beforehand out with dessert. Then they and their crew sang Happy Birthday in English and Spanish. The guests were thrilled! And on top of it, the food was absolutely wonderful! Love this place.“

And until the chef was finish cleaning everything was normal. 2 minutes after he leaves the waiter came to drop off Togo boxes and everyone at the table didn't know what to say. We all were eating. Never saw him come back another waiter came and dropped off the checks for everyone and asked how many Togo boxes. My wife feeling uneasy went ahead and boxed up hers and the children dinner. The other end of the table stopped eating to box their dinner up. Everyone was rushing us out the door. I didn't go to take dinner Togo and wanted to finished. Everytime you stop to take a sip of your drink a third waiter asked if he could take my plate. I am not a slow eater and you shouldn't feel like your not suppose to actually eat inside the dine in restaurant. Food was wonderful as always. But don't expect to actually eat... They will try to run you out the door asap.“

“I've been there twice what's Carryout in one eating in inside $6 French toast plate what's good. The carry out I think it may have been an AI service he didn't know about the $6 plate when I further inquired about it for seniors can you end up costing like $9 and they left out the eggs I really don't know what the hell went wrong maybe it was just a cook is there a low-level manager. But I had a strong feeling that was AI. But you would think tonight at 2 or 3 times in a minute to it my warning is be careful on the takeout“
