“Where to start? What a delightful evening and meal. The waiter, to start with, was amazingly attentive and kept up with us the entire evening. Also the owner came over and filled us in on the recent history. Liquor license is in now but I don't drink so that was not important. Let me segue to the food. OMG, the mushroom and goat cheese fondue with tomato jam was to die for. It was served in a cast iron skillet with plenty of toast. The sauce was so rich and creamy. To keep this under an hour and a half reading let me say my bride's steak was perfect along with the brussel sprouts and kale. Let me tell you about the pork chop. I like my pork chops to be medium rare if possible and it was perfectly pink inside. I try my best to get that look and I always overcome them. The sweet potato puree asking with the brussel sprouts was outstanding. The portions were very generous and couldn't ask anything better for a Monday night meal. OK, then there was the bread pudding. Oh, Lord, when I tasted the whiskey I almost fell in the floor. So, let me say to the people who has a bad time at the restaurant that they are hitting on all cylinders. I can understand a Karen or two that have nothing better to do than be haters, especially after the opening of the restaurants after COVID. I get it. Why not try to come back and give it another chance. They deserve it and you could use a good meal to chill out.“

“Amazing customer service- above and beyond! We were in town from out of state and Per her recommendation we met here for dinner. After a long day of site seeing with the family I wasn’t feeling 100%. The staff took great care of me! Packaged up my food, gave me supplies to make it back to our cabin 1.5 hours away and went above and beyond. Everyone else enjoyed the food and said it was excellent (mine was the next day). We will definitely be going back when in town again.“

You will always be greeted with a warm smile and generous proportions here. There's also a seasoning counter with a variety of seasonings for those fresh, crispy fries!!! “While in town visiting family, I did a search online for ackee & salt fish. This is one that popped up. Didn’t know we would get freshly prepared meals by Rudolph??. Apparently, he recognized our royalty??. We enjoyed our time there and just about shut the restaurant down.

Parking: A shopping center with plenty of free parking.“

“Very comfortable place to go whether it’s during the busy day or at night. The tacos, burgers (homemade) and fried rice are all very good to eat…..maybe because that’s all I eat from here??. Would recommend this store to anyone who wants some good quality food.“

“Dustin was our server and he was phenomenal. Attentive, kind, and he made it obvious he enjoys serving. We complimented his service and found he has only been serving for a month and it’s a complete career change for him. As career industry people ourselves, we gave him our praises because he was a breath of fresh air. The service industry is not the same after the pandemic and he is setting the new standard!!! I unfortunately have several food allergies and he did not make me feel like a burden going over the menu, like many places have.

Dustin genuinely wants to be a great server, WANTS to be at work, and CARES-you can see it. That is the difference. As a former business owner, I can spot an exceptional worker when I see one and he checked all of the boxes.

“I was riding around for like 30 minutes to decide where to go and just stop at this spot so it was my first time. Although i was the only person in the restaurant i'm sure later it gets pretty busy, but the bartender Pam made me feel special . She made sure whatever i wanted to watch on tv she made it was on the screen. As i was uncertain on what to order i went with her suggestion and it was absolutely delicious. I had a chicken slider, cranberry salad and a shrimp taco. Thank you Pam. I will be back and thanks to the chef also. She made the presentation look outstanding.“

“Had a little issue with food being ready at the appropriate time but it was quickly rectified. Food was good. I had the fried chicken sandwich and brat with sauerkraut. Both items where good. The brat is a beyond meat brat. The sides I got were very good. The potato salad was delicious. Potatoes cooked to perfection. The baked beans had just right amount of sweetness. The Cole slaw was a little too sweet for my taste. I am looking forward to returning to try other menu items. Updated from previous review on 2025-03-02“
