My friend got the burger that they said was amazing. But whatever you order don't forget to add a pickle; I could have eaten a jar full of them! The service was great and the food quality was amazing. Can't recommend this place enough.“

“Everything was very good. The sweet Thai chili sauce with the deviled eggs worked more than you think it would. And the salad mixture cut through the fried flavor nicely. The pre made topping burgers seemed like a safe bet. And both my husband and I were impressed that even with all the unique things that built the burgers, you never got the “too much gene” issue that other restaurants can struggle with. Which was nice! What we ordered: The Fried Devilled Eggs The Bistro Burger The Heat-something burger (basically the spice heads one) Amber BD beer. “Had a fabulous birthday experience here back in March! The service was stellar - friendly yet professional. We had an event to attend after dinner and, despite a short timeframe, service flowed smoothly and didn't feel rushed. Our favorites were the charred cabbage, the complimentary heart kebab, and the duck. I had been eyeing the heart on the coursed menu, but since we decided to go with the a-la-carte option to try more things, I had to let it go. You can imagine my delight when it was brought out as a gift from the kitchen! (Thank you Patrick! I'm sure you had a hand in making that happen.) The desserts were creative and interesting. I would definitely recommend giving both the melon sorbet and white pepper ice cream a try as their flavor combinations were very unique.“

“Tabby was in town and in usual Tabby flow she was exploring the atlasobscura website and came across The Consulate. As such, we decided to go. We had reservations for 06:15 on a Friday. Arriving about 20 minutes early as traffic happened to be light, we were able to be seated early without any issues. Upon entering the restaurant the hallway decor captures your attention as you focus on the selected hues of blue and artwork placement. Upon being seated we were immediately greeted by Cindy. Cindy arrived all smiles coupled with a huge personality and warm welcome. As this was our first time she took a moment to explain to us the menu selections, geographical inspiration, as well as answer the few questions we had about select items. Cindy’s education of the menu and experience with the foods added to the food deciding experience. Major shout out to Cindy. The ambiance of the restaurant is high energy, captivating and explorative. As you look around the restaurant it puts you in the mindset of being inside one of the classic true to theme castles in an Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider movie. LoL! At any moment Laura Croft could walk in and grab one of the items on display and head out for her next mission. LoL! I decided on the String Beans with a side of Mexican Rice and I was more than satisfied with the flavor profile of my meal. The string beans were flavor stacked with the slight sweet from the sauce and the spice from the peppers. The texture was spot on for a true sautéed experience as well as the portion was perfect… The Mexican rice paired well with the string beans as it provided a texture variation as well as it was seasoned well but not overpowering in comparison to the string beans. This was truly a 10/10 experience. The service, the environment, and the food were all superb. Whether for a personal 2 person dinner or after work friend vibe, The Consulate is truly a must try for any occasion.“

We spoke to every bar guest at the bar outside of my friend and I, lots of swearing. He didn’t acknowledge my friend and I one time the entire experience. Prices were affordable $40/60/100 depending on number of people in group and good portions for food , so you can order a few things and split: try a few things on menu . “Stayed for a business conference. And night one I was going through it, with my Nanny quitting on me last minute.
Decided to have dinner at Tosca Blu. And it was like the staff just KNEW!
Charles and Nancy didn’t just serve my Daughter and I, but they Adopted us. It’s like they could sense that a village was needed! On top of encouraging me, and ensuring that I GOT THIS. They showed my Daughter so much love during our stay, my daughter cried when it was time to leave.
