“This place has a nice upstairs and downstairs. Our waitress (Peaches) was very nice. Excellent vibe and large portion of food. The menu is small, so it is not overwhelming trying to figure out what to order. The only issue was the guy outside saying, "You and your daughter can't go inside until your whole party is here." I told him my wife was already inside. He wanted her to come back outside before we could go in. Just his I don't care demeanor was the issue and not much of what he said.“

“Tabby was in town and in usual Tabby flow she was exploring the atlasobscura website and came across The Consulate. As such, we decided to go. We had reservations for 06:15 on a Friday. Arriving about 20 minutes early as traffic happened to be light, we were able to be seated early without any issues. Upon entering the restaurant the hallway decor captures your attention as you focus on the selected hues of blue and artwork placement. Upon being seated we were immediately greeted by Cindy. Cindy arrived all smiles coupled with a huge personality and warm welcome. As this was our first time she took a moment to explain to us the menu selections, geographical inspiration, as well as answer the few questions we had about select items. Cindy’s education of the menu and experience with the foods added to the food deciding experience. Major shout out to Cindy. The ambiance of the restaurant is high energy, captivating and explorative. As you look around the restaurant it puts you in the mindset of being inside one of the classic true to theme castles in an Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider movie. LoL! At any moment Laura Croft could walk in and grab one of the items on display and head out for her next mission. LoL! I decided on the String Beans with a side of Mexican Rice and I was more than satisfied with the flavor profile of my meal. The string beans were flavor stacked with the slight sweet from the sauce and the spice from the peppers. The texture was spot on for a true sautéed experience as well as the portion was perfect… The Mexican rice paired well with the string beans as it provided a texture variation as well as it was seasoned well but not overpowering in comparison to the string beans. This was truly a 10/10 experience. The service, the environment, and the food were all superb. Whether for a personal 2 person dinner or after work friend vibe, The Consulate is truly a must try for any occasion.“

“Located in Home Park we happy to see that the location was not difficult to get to. There was a parking garage around the corner however there is complimentary valet service which is always a relief. The dining room has several rooms with different views my husband and I were sat in a room full of windows which was nice. My husband and I were in for our anniversary and decided to try one of the new Michelin recommended restaurants. We came for a 5:30 reservation and left close to 8:15. The service was decent however there was several times that we said " ummmmm where is our waitress?" But I think the staff does a good job of working as a team. We started off with some drinks I got the Miller Time ( a nice light and refreshing gin cocktail) and my husband got a beer. We were very impressed with the beer menu they had lots of our favorites and was certainly a nice treat for him. For starters we had the hush puppies ( cooked well, with a chutney on top and a nice creamy sauce underneath), The Farm Baked Egg( a staple to the restaurant, deliciously creamy with outstanding sourdough toast) and, the Local Lettuce Salad( I really loved how the ingredients were the star of the show with this salad. It was by no means underdressed but it was well balanced enough that you could enjoy all of the in season veggies), for dinner I had the Pork schnitzel( I was a little disappointed by this one the sauce was unlike any I have ever had and was heavy on the citrus while the collards were difficult to eat because they were so tough, the pork itself was pretty standard although, I had always thought schnitzel was supposed to be pretty thin this was not. The dish was highly recommended but I think it just wasn't for me) my husband had the duck leg ( which was cooked very nicely and he was very satisfied with the overall dish) for dessert we were gifted some glasses of Prosecco ( very sweet to include for our anniversary) to go with the vanilla cake( very moist and was paired with island flavors), the lemon bar( pleasantly bright with a raspberry sorbet and grapefruit mouse. I loved everything about this dish there was so many bright puckery flavors but it was not overwhelming.) and, the Dessert cheese course( lovely selection on cheeses the only thing that was off to me is the strawberries were not sweet at all.... It was a little sad). I also ordered a cappuccino which unfortunately had no foam on top paired with their hazelnut liquor which was very good. All in all it was a good experience.“

“Dinner on a Tuesday night at the Kimball house was wonderful. Loved the decor inside and overall ambience. My party enjoyed everything we ordered especially the entrees, they were all excellent and difficult to pick a favorite between the tenderloin, duck and snapper. The grilled oysters were a little different than the typical Parmesan garlic but they were amazing as well. I think the weakest dish for me was the fried shrimp. The pieces were small and seemed like a lot of breading. We didn't order dessert here and elected to walk over to butter & cream for dessert. Would definitely come back for dinner again!“

“Allow me to set the mood! It’s Hoopz last night in Atlanta before moving back to Seattle. As such, I wanted something close to his area, good, and that I had never tied before. Naturally I end up on Yelp performing a search and Boom! I stumbled across Argosy. Though I have been in this area numerous times, I have never noticed Argosy. However, tonight was the night… I was excited as the restaurant has its own private lot. Woo Hoo! Anyone who knows the area can’t attest that parking is not the best when it comes to available spaces. Once parked, we headed inside. Argosy is humongous. I’m talking super big covered patio area in the front, when you walk through that space to get to the main area, the inside is HUGE as well. The setup has your organic local bar feel and is musically vibrant and upbeat. Upon walking in we were seated within moments. The table setup makes good use of the space as you don’t feel crowded at all. We were a party of 2 and the tables next to us were a party of 10 and we both had ample space. As I looked over the menu, this is the traditional bar food menu with the Argosy twist. This makes for a limited selection to choose from, however, there is at least one traditional favorite of each food element in the menu. Our server arrived at the table within moments, welcomed us to the venue and took our drink orders. She was very pleasant and displayed a joyous smile. After a few moments of burger vs. fries, I decided to get the Wings and Fries and babeeeeeeeeeee. These wings were amazing. The wings come in a sauce I have never had before, and now that I have had it, I want to continue having it. It’s like a Buffalo style sauce not too spicy, with an Argosy taste twist to them. As far as the French fries… Hear me clearly. The art of a Homemade fry is not something everyone can execute well. However, Argosy has discovered the ART of fry making. The fries are crunchy on the outside, however, soft and fluffy on the inside. Furthermore, the fries are lightly salted which brings out the authentic taste of the potato. To make it even better, the fries aren’t too oily or overly greasy. Though I loved my wings, the French fries stole the night!! All in all, I will be back at Argosy soon as I MUST try the burger next.“

The manager, Sean Palani, greeted me and saw me to an outdoor table a comfortable distance from a musician busking on the square. My server, Ryan, recommended their scarpinnoc with ricotta, morels, fonduta, "fronions" and tarragon. It is delightfully savory, cheesy and comfortable. “This place was amazing .. we found it by googling while taking my out of town parents out in the city. The customer service was amazing . The cashier Akibia ( maybe misspelled) was so sweet and patient with us. One of the owners was super sweet and gave us all moon pies.. of course the food! The food was amazing .. everything we got was delicious.. even my picky 7 yr old was trying all kinds of things. Please support this business! It’s inside GSU but open to the public.. will definitely be coming back ! Thank you for the awesome hospitality .“

“I have probably been here 10 times...and counting. It is very nice! Friendly staff. Strong drinks & good food. My favorites are the Blueberry Henny & Hennyrita (I guess they should be strong ?‍?). Awesome pork chops, steak nachos, fried grouper & salmon. I love the bands on Friday. Karaoke and Taco Tuesday was really fun & entertaining last night. The crowd was really into it. Even the DJ sounded pretty good when he sang a couple of songs.“

“OMG……I am so sorry. I forgot to snap a pic when I got my food. It was good though. ? I went for their anniversary today and took my coworker to lunch. Neither of us had eaten at The Flying Biscuit before. The restaurant was very easy to find. It sits on the corner of 10th street and Piedmont, but Lord!!!!!!! Parking is absolutely atrocious!!!! Thankfully there is a lot right next to/ behind the building, but Jesus!!!!!! It’s tight and there aren’t many spots. If you have an suv, you are not going to be able to park here. My coworker and I got the flying biscuit breakfast; eggs, chicken sausage patties, grits, and a biscuit. Our server was named Lexi and she was really nice. The decor in the restaurant was eclectic and cute. There is art all over the walls and ceiling. Our food came out super fast and it was hot. We both enjoyed the meal. My coworker said her biscuit kept falling apart, but she enjoyed it still. The grits were super creamy. So much so, that they almost didn’t event taste like grits. They were so good. The chicken sausage was tasty and not greasy at all. My biscuit………was amazing. I needed you to pause for those few seconds to give respect to how good the biscuit tasted. I do have an after picture of my plate. Sorry again…….I was really excited. We only paid $11.27 for two meals. They add a credit card processing fee when you pay using a card. I’d definitely go back here, but I’d have to be in the neighborhood already or taking Uber. This would be a great place to eat breakfast before a day at Piedmont park.Parking: The lot behind/next to the building is free, but it is tight and small.“

The salmon, smoked kale and turkey, lobster & shrimp fried rice and Mac & cheese are everything! I just wish they stayed open later. Closing at 20:00 hurts my feelings … lol“

“We haven't been to Bar Margot in awhile and decided to celebrate our actual anniversary here and I'm so glad we did. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable even with the menu that had just changed 2 weeks prior. The cashew hummus caught my eye and presentation is incredible. It's now one of my favorite hummus plates in the city. I will order this again for certain. I was really excited to try the truffle fries after all the rave reviews but sadly, ours came to the table lukewarm and honestly, I ate maybe 5. We left half on the plate. If they served these in a basket wrapped in paper like they do in French restaurants that would help with the temperature, perhaps they have. But for the record, the BEST truffle fries are at Ajax Tavern in the The Little Nell hotel in Aspen. If ya'll can make them like Ajax, you'd have a standing room only restaurant. I also ordered the sweet potato ravioli - the presentation and taste were perfect. Also the crispy Brussels sprouts were a winner! Like the cashew hummus, I'd order the ravioli and sprouts again in a heartbeat. My spouse had the snapper and it smelled fishy, was teeny, overly vinegar, and overpriced. He didn't want to send it back but would never order it again. Our server brought us a rich chocolate and berry anniversary dessert with glasses of bubbles which was very kind. We celebrated our anniversary in the mountains the weekend before and the other restaurant we went to did zero to acknowledge us - not even saying happy anniversary, thank you for spending it with us. Zero. Thank you Bar Margot for making our actual day feel so special and confirm that we made the right choice (even if some of the food was meh) it won't stop us from coming back. We'll just avoid the snapper and ask for the fries to be HOT!“

“Very good, I had the tzatziki lemon artichoke bowl with umami tofu; he had the ginger like peanut with spicy chicken. It’s nice to have more fast-casual options and we would definitely come back. The chips were a nice “freebie” that I ate this time but would probably not be helpful to me on a regular basis because I try to avoid extra canola oil when I can. The drink/condiment station was a little messy but overall this was a good experience.Vegetarian options: You choose your protein so any bowl can be made with tofu. Good option for vegetarians and vegans!“

“Stopped in for a bite and a couple drinks for a friends bday. The atmosphere is casual and dark and the service was fantastic. We ordered a few different dishes and some drinks including the oysters and steak tartar. While the steak tartar was delicious, the yucca chips were undercooked and scarce. Regarding the oysters, I would suggest you do not order them here. The oysters were tiny and they were served with one slice of lemon. Unfortunately, the kitchen was unable to provide any other toppings for the oysters, including horseradish, despite it being used in the steak tartar. These were some of the saddest oysters I've ever seen. The other food I tasted was pretty good, including the sorbet dessert we ordered. All of the staff I met were friendly and helpful. All in all, a bit pricey for the reality, especially considering the sad oysters.“
