“I love the atmosphere, drinks and food. Service was great. It is a bit on the expensive side, however the main dishes are elevated fine dining. I had Seabass marinated in Miso and served with perfectly prepared accoutrement. My wife had the Scallops, with squash puree, delicious. I did not have the more ubiquitous Mexican offerings like the Tacos so I can't comment on those. I have a hard time spending that mush on a Taco , however if the mains were any indication of the preparation I am sure it was elevated. They also have two family style dishes , a chicken and beef birria that I was told can serve 5 or more. That is a good value if you went with your family. I would defiantly give this place a try.“

Lucian Books and Wine is truly a gem in Atlanta. The food is consistently incredible, with a thoughtful menu of small plates that highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients. On our most recent visit, the standout dishes were the crisp polenta with black truffle perfectly crispy and rich, and the pappardelle with pork ragu, which was deeply flavorful and comforting. The oysters are always impeccable, fresh and beautifully presented. “This is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely staff. I have tried everything on the menu and it is all delicious! My favorite food items are the meatballs and goat cheese, and bruschetta board. I love coming here, and I recommend it to all my friends!

“This place is legit on Funk Fridays. Loved the outdoor seating area and the staff was super informative and friendly. The grazing board was delicious and unique in the arrangement of cheeses and meats. Great ambiance. The flies got a little crazy gathering around your food and drink if you sit outside. So be sure to get a table fan to keep them away if you sit outside, as that was helpful for us! We loved the funky wine flights and the great selection of wine! The side saddle burgers were juicy and delicious as well. Unfortunately the chicken wings left a lot to be desired in terms of texture and flavor. The green chimichuri sauce they top the wings with was too oily and it just seeped into and overpowered the wings.“

I had the braised beef short ribs that came with mashed potatoes and collard greens. The meat was super fork pull apart tender, mashed potatoes well seasoned, and collard greens like somebody’s Grandma was making them in the kitchen.

My wife and I also had the collard greens cheese dip and the Kung Pao Brussel sprout for an appetizer. Both appetizers were delicious and more than enough for 2-3 people.

If ever at the West End, going out for a date night, or looking for a place to grab a meal and chill before taking a short walk on the beltline please checkout Boxcar they won’t let you down.“

“Honestly, I was surprised. We were in Summer Hill trying to get dinner somewhere else but they couldn't squeeze us in, so we ended up at Southern National. The food was SO good. Great variety, fresh ingredients, flavorful. The drinks and wine selection are spot onz and we've always had great service. We've added this to our regular rotation.“

“A great place to pick up some drinks at Ponce City Market - The Tap has a ton of beer on draft and other pre-packaged options. It's fun to pick up a growler of beer and share it among friends while exploring PCM or by taking it outside to The Yard (a small green space in front of the building).

The Tap on Ponce is owned by Green's Beverages, one of my favorite package stores, so they always have a great selection of beer and other goodies. Staff are friendly and are more than happy to chat about their beer options and help you choose one that suits your needs!“

“I don't know why the other reviewer, SS, is lying about the kitchen never being open. I go there every other day between 10am and 130pm and have never, ever been told the kitchen was closed. They make my special order breakfast sandwich perfectly for me every time!

I assume SS showed up a few minutes before closing when they were told the kitchen was closed and wanted to vent their frustration, but that doesn't mean they should make up stuff about a business.

“This place was great! After an experience next door we crashed here and was NOT disappointed. We were greeted and reviewed the menu. Ordered the eggplant parmesan, meatballs, pizza and wine. We sat at the bar in front of the wood fire ovens. Got to watch our meals being prepared and had the most pleasant conversation with the pizza makers. The meatballs were FIRE! They were amazing, wonderful combo of meats and hand made…AMAZING. The pizza was also just the best pizza I have had in a long time. They finish with actual Italian olive oil which took the experience to another level. Then oh whoa almost forgot about their dessert. We ordered the pistachio cake and tiramisu. WOW, the dessert was simply beautiful and perfect amount of sweetness. Everything was fresh and amazing. All the employees there were wonderful welcoming and kind. Such a great place! “Me and a friend went to lunch and the food was amazing. I had the lamb curry and she had the salmon 10/10. I would also like to note that although Matthew wasn't our waiter, he overheard me mention my water was a little warm and he came over and apologized and explained he wanted us to have the best experience. He corrected that and honestly just paid such close detail to our table for the remainder of our lunch. We were so impressed with him we ended up staying 3hrs — we ended up getting dessert and drinks and invited a couple friends to meet us there just to be apart of the experience. “The attention to detail here is awesome. Everyone treats you with interest and care. They made my husband's birthday special. The owner even stopped by to wish him a happy birthday. We enjoy starting with cocktails and their tower. I had the Gray Lady and my husband had the Smoked Old Fashioned. Both delicious with artistic presentation. We had a special that included lobster, prawns, scallops and pineapple rice. Beautiful and delicious. This is our favorite dinner location when visiting the Atlanta Symphony. It never disappoints. “First time going here and we enjoyed it quite a bit. The food was great for the most part, but I didn't enjoy how they prepared the snails or presented them still in their shell. Otherwise we enjoyed everything, especially the French onion soup, white bean soup, brie en croute, cheese selections, fresh bread. The ambiance was lively with a great singer, but there were some obnoxious drunks making fools of themselves in the bar area and that kind of took away from the experience. I would recommend this place and will be back.“
