“With no reservations on a Valentines day weekend, my wife and I ended up at the bar of Casa Balam in Decatur. Where the Ted's Montana grill used to be. They did have a planned menu but with options. Great drinks ( a good alternative to the espresso martinis) and the the bartenders gave us great service. Definitely going back to experience their whole menu.“

“Came on a Saturday -- highly recommend getting reservations. The ambiance was really nice - not too loud but the hum of humans chatting quietly was really calming. Low lighting and cozy seating is great. Drinks are a standout, excellent selection of options -- and the cocktails are really good! Food was okay, I don't think I would come here for food as a primary motivation -- our entrees all needed a little more acid or heat. Fish dishes came out kind of lukewarm, the pasta dish was too blunt with the cheese being too dense on the pasta and the seafood being really chewy. I'd stick to ordering their small plates Service is good, relaxed, professional with no hovering, just friendly people making sure you're having a good time. Fawn is a place to drink slowly, talk with your friends for a while, and maybe forgive a few culinary missteps because the bar definitely gets the important things right. Definitely will visit again for the bar.“

“I'm so happy to have a whole foods that is close to where I live in the Decatur area.
The hot bar is really good and they have a nice variety. The staff is very nice and the Amazon drop off point is really nice as well.
Recently all of the refrigerators were out which impacted the hot bar and other things in the store.

Also there have been a few power outages and system outages that has disrupted service a few times.

Outside of that parking is plentiful and the staff is always kind.“

“Madeira Park has an amazing wine selection with a lively atmosphere. Wine bars tend to be hit or miss on the food but not Madeira Patk. It was all bits. Our favorite item was the butter and anchovy tartine. Do not miss this incredibly simple bite of food prepared absolutely perfectly. The anchovies are not overly salty. I also loved the tartar. I like how the beef was finely minced vs large chunks. The savory fresh flavor of the beef was superb. Sorry I had already started eating when I took my pic. We chatted with the owner Neal. He was very kind and we spoke about the amazing tartine. We sat at the barber Katherine and she provided amazing service with a smile. She made sure our wine glasses never got to the bottom. We enjoyed a delicious bottle of Vino Verde from Portugal. We were in Portugal earlier this year and this wine brought us back. Don’t miss Madeira Park!“

“Stopped in for breakfast while waiting for my flight. Beautiful atmosphere, very warm and welcoming. Had some coffee and an Avocado toast (probably one of the tastiest and nicest presentation I’ve ever seen). My waitress, Jada, was absolutely lovely, kind and warm. It was a wonderful overall experience. I would definitely revisit.“

“This place is legit on Funk Fridays. Loved the outdoor seating area and the staff was super informative and friendly. The grazing board was delicious and unique in the arrangement of cheeses and meats. Great ambiance. The flies got a little crazy gathering around your food and drink if you sit outside. So be sure to get a table fan to keep them away if you sit outside, as that was helpful for us! We loved the funky wine flights and the great selection of wine! The side saddle burgers were juicy and delicious as well. Unfortunately the chicken wings left a lot to be desired in terms of texture and flavor. The green chimichuri sauce they top the wings with was too oily and it just seeped into and overpowered the wings.“

“Postino in Buckhead is a popular wine café and restaurant chain, and now I understand why. The name Postino comes from Italian, meaning “the postman,” and the concept really fits—casual, neighborhood-style dining meant for sharing food, wine, and conversation, like messages being passed around.
This was our first time visiting, and we had the pleasure of meeting Corey, the manager, who was incredibly welcoming and genuinely excited that it was our first visit. He checked on us several times and made us feel right at home. Our server, Justin, was excellent—friendly, attentive, and easygoing.
When I asked Corey about the meatballs, he brought some out for us to try—and they are now officially my new favorite. Absolutely delicious.
This is truly a place to hang out: a friendly vibe, warm energy, and staff that make you feel like family. It honestly feels like a modern-day Cheers. We’re moving around the corner and are so happy to have found our new go-to spot. Amazing food, incredible staff, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back.

“We had a reservation at The Capital Grille for Valentine’s Day & overall had a wonderful evening. The atmosphere was great, the food was absolutely delicious, & my husband & I really enjoyed our night. We had requested a booth in our reservation & they accommodated that, which we really appreciated. Our server was very kind, attentive, & respectful, and we were seated immediately when we arrived, even though the hostess staff were not very warm or polite.

The only disappointing part of the experience was the valet service. It felt chaotic, we ended up having to get our own car despite using valet, & then waited about 10 minutes just to get out of the parking lot. Aside from the valet situation, everything else was great & we truly had a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner.“

“I was very impressed by the food, service and atmosphere at Southern National. It was a great date night spot and would be great for a group of friends that want to enjoy an excellent meal. I also noted the bar looked like a lovely spot for an impromptu dinner out. The bread and ribs were AMAZING...I want the ribs every day of the week. “As someone with a lot of food restrictions, I LOVE that Boxcar provides the option to inform them of your food needs in their reservation system. And I can attest that they take it very seriously. When I showed up, they confirmed my food restrictions at each stage (hostess, server taking the order, server delivering the order)... but it didn't feel stressful or oppressive at all. They were kind and understanding.

Aside from that, the food is great (whether you have restrictions or not), the atmosphere is fun, and it's a GREAT place to bring large or small groups. I've been there several times, and each time it has been a wonderful experience.“

We sat at the bar in front of the wood fire ovens. Got to watch our meals being prepared and had the most pleasant conversation with the pizza makers. The meatballs were FIRE! They were amazing, wonderful combo of meats and hand made…AMAZING. The pizza was also just the best pizza I have had in a long time. They finish with actual Italian olive oil which took the experience to another level. Then oh whoa almost forgot about their dessert. We ordered the pistachio cake and tiramisu. “Nang Thai Fine Dining in Midtown Atlanta was excellent. The service was outstanding, and the mixed drinks were very good. We started with Nang’s Tasting Tree, which offered a great assortment of small appetizers. For entrées, we had the Siam Ocean and the Sea Bass Panang special—both were flavorful, well-seasoned, and delicious. The food came out quickly, and the service remained attentive throughout. No military discount, but $5 valet parking is a plus. Overall, a great night. Highly recommend—perfect spot for a first date.“

“We ate at Sear during our stay at Marriott a few times and each time was better than before! We first ate at the Sunday brunch, which had everything you could wish for at brunch - lox and bagels, fresh spring mix + Cesar salad bar, hot buffet lined roasted vegetables and hearty breakfast items, and even a chef cooking up omelets, pancakes and waffles.

My favorite meal was lunch on Tuesday from their regular menu - I had the pesto marinated chicken breast on top of the fresh kale salad with beets, goat cheese, pecans and more. Incredibly delicious and very fresh.

Service was outstanding! Very friendly wait staff who were attentive and knowledgeable or the menu and of Atlanta, they came with great recommendations at every turn.“
