“Had food from them at family’s pre-wedding dinner and when I tell you these were the best tacos I may have ever had, it’s no exaggeration. Their guac? To die for. Proteins, seasoned to perfection. Elotes, chef’s kiss. My mouth’s watering thinking of their food. They absolutely know how to do their thing and do it *well*. Will definitely look for their truck when I’m in the Atlanta area.“

I was in the mood for a good lobster roll. I found this spot online, I thought it was in a building but quickly realized it is a food truck. So I wanted to give it a try. The address led me to the Atlanta Prep Kitchen space and unfortunately no one could help me. Oh well maybe when I have more time in Atlanta I can try one next time.“

Parking: Very limited parking. I paid $10 to valet and there was a line to park (on a major street). Arrive early, prior to the reservation time.“

“The experience ended up being amazing, even though it started off a little rough. Brian (I believe that was his name) walked past me three times without acknowledging me at all. I had to speak to him first, and when I asked about being seated outside with the heaters on, he said “let me check” and never came back.

Thankfully, Alexia came over, greeted me properly, and apologized for the wait. It was a bit chilly outside, but she made sure the heater was on, and then Andy brought over a personal heater to make sure I was comfortable.

Taly was simply amazing and so pleasant. She checked on me consistently and made sure everything was okay.

Overall, the service from Alexia, Andy, and Taly was a 10/10.“

“I absolutely LOVE this place!! Today was my 2nd time here and again it did not disappoint! The service is excellent! Melina was amazing! Such a great, fun personality! And she gave excellent recommendations for the food and drinks! We even told her to surprise us with our last drink order and she made the most delicious drinks!
The food is very fresh and so good! This time we had the La Sirena and the Mexican corn. Both were so delish! And the 3 salsas they gave us to have with our tacos was so yummy too! Even the water was good and refreshing! Cucumbers and lime in it which was so refreshing 😋 We sat on the patio which was a nice view of the surrounding area. “The new Three Buddies has the most amazing menu. While the walk in situation was giving fast food energy, once I stepped inside the establishment it was giving upscale fast food with a fine dining cuisine twist. “While one of many entrants in the hipster taco place pantheon the Velvet Taco has truly put together some interesting taco flavors and combinations. From meat, to fish, to chicken they were all tasty, unique and fresh. Service was exceptionally pleasant and the menu, overall, is constructed in an easy and user friendly way. Getting in and out isn't bad either. So, if you need a taco fix, definitely consider trying The Velvet Taco. You won't be disappointed.“

“After a long day of visiting tourists sites, I was in much need of an adult beverage and some grub. Our son told us that we had to go to Superica so we jumped in the car and took off like Batman looking for a Midnight dance with Cat Woman. In minutes we were through the door and quickly seated. Even though we had a fairly large party our server Justin made sure that we felt like the only people in the crowded room. The house salsa here is so incredible that I begged on hands and knees that the bartender craft a cocktail using it as the base. After much arguing, debating and signing of waivers, the bartender I believe his name is DeBossie (forgive me for the sp) returned with the David Moon Special. It was spicy, salsay (making up words) and refreshing. It's not for everyone but if you're bold enough to take the road less traveled then I highly recommend it. After a couple of DMs and stuffed on some of the best Mexican food I've ever had, and I've dined in many Latino countries, Chef Kenny came over for a chat. My wife had to stop me from jumping over the table and giving him a deep long kiss for the feast that he provided us. My whole family left full, happy and feeling like we didn't just dine but had an amazing experience. As a plus, most of the waitresses are very easy on your eyes if you know what I mean. I speak enough Spanish to order and converse but if you know how to say onion in English, you know the basics. We both got the taco salad with ground beef and it was just it was so good. It was so very good. We both got guacamole on top of our taco salad. I wish we had gotten a separate order of guacamole because it was good. It was all very good. The managers name was Charlie. He was just a very nice man, a good manager, the people that work there seem to be very happy with their jobs, which I believe is important to the success of the restaurant. We are about 40 miles from our home so I’m not sure we will ever make it back here, but I’m going to look for a closer location because the food is just that good.“
