“Although the dining area is small, the food is what is of most interest here! The wings are only one of the stars at this small, unassuming eatery! I tried the sweet and sour wings, which are made to order, and from what I've heard, their lemon-pepper wings are the stuff of legend, as they have been featured in Bon Appetit' twice! I also enjoyed their Lamb Biryani, and it was absolutely delicious! The lamb had a spicy kick, and the rice was flavorful and tasty. Will definitely be back for other dishes!“

“I used to go to the other venue of the MF when it was on Ponce, but it closed there, and I hadn't looked for another of its venues in years. Then a suggestion from Open Table popped into my email, and I decided, why not? I am so glad I did. The sushi was delicious, lovingly prepared and fresh as all get out! Though I was a solo diner, I was seated at a table and treated very well, which is not always the case everywhere. I will definitely come back to this welcoming place.“

“Paella is definitely not for 3 people despite what the menu says. 2 at the most, I'd say. Which is not a bad thing, it always tastes better when served, not a day later. It was delicious and authentic, just like the one I had in Spain.

“Ordered pork buns and orange chicken on DoorDash. Best orange chicken and rice I’ve ever had in my life. Perfectly crispy and sauce was great. Rice was lovely. Pork buns were fine, nothing wrong with them, but was expecting more of a cha siu bun, but it was more like a potsticker filling, but that’s on me because they were advertised accurately. I hate DoorDash, but this was one of the best things I’ve got from them.“

“As a 26 year resident who's lived all over Atlanta, I hope Motorboat becomes a landmark staple. I visited on a night where staff was limited but Rebecca held it down managing the bar and the floor. She makes a pretty good old fashioned. However, there's room for improvement on the specialty cocktails.

Now for the food, tomato soup was very good. My party ordered the Chicago and the rachel. They were both good but not flavor bombs as. I feel the food was just OK when it should be crave worthy considering the location. Atl is not known for sandwiches so there's an opportunity here to fill a need. Especially, with all the transplants who love sandwiches. If I can get a note worthy sandwich in Chicago or NY for $14 why should I pay $17 for a basic one in Atl.“

“A good place to grab a drink and a snack, but as a spot for dinner it falls a little short. They have a great drink list and the appetizers we tried were delicious. Service was also spot on, we were well taken care of.

I think where this place really shines is the drinks and light dishes. We both had a glass of wine and a cocktail and all were good. Obviously the drink list caters more towards wine, but there is something for everyone here.

The small plates were also very good. We had the egg and the beef tartar. Both were good quality, good flavor, really cant say anything wrong about them. The egg was like a medium boiled egg split in two with accoutrements on top. I was expecting more of a miller union style egg, but this was still really good. My wife also thought the fries were the best fries she has ever had.

Here is where things start to break down. Dinner was... fine. We had the poulet and the sea bream. Both left something to be desired. The sauce on the chicken was overly gelatinous and approaching the consistency of caramel. The flavor was also nothing fantastic, almost just like a fancy bbq sauce. The fish, while good, had a really really odd plating and now that I think back on it bordered on comical (see pics). It was basically served in a light broth with a TON of carrots underneath, and it just didn't make much sense for the price point it was at.

Atmosphere sadly has typical to all the trendy spots these days, a little loud, a little too big, and just an overall feeling of impersonal. It's almost like all these places are over operationalized without enough thought given to personal interactions, everything feels artificial.

All that being said, I still think this is worth a visit and I give it 5 stars assuming that you are going for a drink and a light meal.“

“As a former server myself, I really appreciated the level of service Milan provided, top tier! He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made my first visit a wonderful experience. I saw two managers while I was in the dinning room and both came over to ask how we were doing.

I ordered the branzino, truffle Mac and cheese and the risotto, delicious! The person I was with had the NY Strip with fries and it was cooked to perfection.

“We enjoyed Sunday brunch. The space is beautiful, the brunch options appealed to both of our differing tastes. The shared brunch menu is a great way to try various dishes. Regular menu was available, as well. The $5 mimosa was good (though bubbles were absent). Pleasant and accommodating server. “This is a hidden gem in Johns Creek! I visited on a random Tuesday night. I’m a bit of a foodie and can be a bit picky - that said, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. I had the salmon and chose to get it blackened. Despite my requesting it well done, the salmon was still so moist and the lemon vinaigrette drizzle accompanied the dish so well! I also had a spicy margarita and their crème brûlée for dessert. My total experience was amazing! Will definitely be back!“

“Caveat. I'm a professional chef of 30+ years. Visited Atlanta in May 2022 and had our last dinner here with Friends. Got a reservation online easily, waited a couple minutes while our table was prepared. We ordered a number of Tapas to share. Staff did a good job bringing them in a timely manner. Interesting wine list. We ordered a terrific Txacholi (sp?) at a reasonable price. Dishes were all pretty classic Spanish - Ocotpus was good and tender, The chorizo with sweet and sour figs held promise but was a little too sweet and sour. Croquettas were yummy. Everyone at the table loved the child carrots with pistachios. Will say that ambient noise was very disconcerting - hard to hear my dinner guests at the table - lots of hard surfaces made the busy dining room VERY loud. But ultimately we enjoyed our dinner there. Good Service.“

“This is a wonderful hotel bar in the lobby of Aloft Atlanta. The food is quite tasty, not extraordinary, but better than your average pub. The atmosphere, service, and drinks are quite good, and overall it's worth a visit if you're lodging.The bar itself is not that big: there's less than ten seats in the bar. The lounge area is much bigger, and it even has access to the outside pool area.While they have a limited selection of beers on tap, wine and cocktails are quite good, and definitely their strong point.I ordered two tacos with a side of Mac and Cheese and a local beer on tap. It took a long time, about twenty five minutes to come out, and it wasn't particularly busy. Despite the wait, the food was pretty good!“

“Lantana has always been my go-to spot, especially because of Wendy. The service is consistently great, the food is always delicious, and the drinks are a perfect 10 out of 10. I’ve been coming here for years, so I was a little disappointed not to see Wendy this time. I actually decided not to stay because, honestly, I’m not familiar with the other staff.
