Just great! I had the patty melt with tots and a salad. So good!! The atmosphere is exactly what u would want from and "old school" diner. They even had Price Is Right circa 1977 on the tv. And extra bonus, free ice cream!! Skip the chain restaurants and head on over.
This funky cafeteria (co-located with a drug store) was the power breakfast meeting room for local politicians for decades, and it was as real as real can be. As Duluth repositioned itself into the 21st century, so too (eventually) did the Rexall Grill. But updated technology (and a new level of cleanliness) has not really spoiled it. The server seemed new and wasnt on top of his game. He forgot to bring me a portion of my food then he couldn't remove it from the bill. We had to wait 10 min at least for the chief to remove it.The peanutbutter chip pancake was huge and awesome. The people I was there with all loved their food, just not the server.
