TJ STREET TACOS is a restaurant serving delicious tacos that many find to be the best in town. The carne asada tacos are highly recommended, described as juicy, well-seasoned, salty, warm, and filled with plenty of meat. They come with onions, cilantro, and a guacamole that is a light and cool avocado cream. The birria tacos are also very good and come with consome, though some note a touch of cinnamon. The adobada tacos are delicious as well. The soft handmade tortillas are unrivaled. Portions are on point, offering a great amount of food for the price.
The menu has recently expanded. The restaurant is clean with an ambiance like a traditional taquería. Service is awesome and super fast. Overall, it provides a great experience, with many customers returning every week and finding it worth a long drive. Some feedback notes the nachos are now great, though they are made with Tostitos chips rather than homemade tortilla chips.
