“Aiskrimu Ice Cream Bar is a black owned, intimate ice cream shop with unique, tasty flavors and good customer service.

We walked over here about 10 minutes prior to their closing time and were greeted kindly. Additionally, we were provided with good recommendations for purchase.

We opted on the Ube flavored ice cream which was very unique, yet good.“

“So this spot has been in Fayetteville for awhile apparently and I didn't know it. My husband and I stopped by and I sampled pineapple and we ended up getting cherry and strawberry lemonade. Deeeelicious! Customer service was great too. I returned within 15 minutes with one of my sons and I got an additional flavor (mango with Tajin) -you gotta try it! “The weather was nice, the friends were out for a stroll after a morning of volunteering, what better reasons to stop into Big Softie for a cool treat! LoL. As I walked in my senses were attacked by fresh smells of sweet cream and fresh waffle cones. To say I was instantly excited would be an understatement. I was overjoyed by the instant memories of childhood and the local ice cream parlor. The nostalgia was free with my order. Ha! Walking up to the cashier to order, the young lady was very nice and greeted me with a smile. As I was the last of the group to order I knew what I wanted. I partook in a small vanilla on a cake cone with rainbow sprinkles (jimmies where I’m from). I placed my order, provided my name, and stood to the side. Once my order was ready, my name was called and my excitement started all over again. The ice cream was perfectly sculpted. It looked as if every sprinkle was perfectly placed and the ice cream to cone ratio was perfecttttttttttttttttttt. I’m one who bites the top of the swirl off first and upon FIRST BITE… I was planning my next visit back. LoL. Fresh Ice Cream Fresh Cone Super Fresh Sprinkles And best of all, the cream to sugar ratio was algebraically perfect. It’s official. I’ll be back in two weeks for my next fix. Dare I say, Big Softie is now in my Top 5 for Ice Cream, and #1 for Soft Serve. Do yourself a favor and get you some. 🥳“

“I was on a hunt for the gooey butter cake ice cream for at least a week. My search lead me to the Blue Bell creamery. Although the creamery doesn't service the public, there's was this ANGEL that answered the door. Mrs. Ray assisted me in locating a store nearby, and she made sure the next time one of her drivers serviced that particular store, they would have gallons of my requested ice cream. Boy oh boy! Thank you so much for continuing to make Blue Bell my favorite brand of ice cream!“

“Hidden gem that has handdipped delicious ice cream. The place looks like a start up business with not a lot of flare. What it lacks in appearance makes up in flavor. It's kinda pricey for ice cream $4.25 for a small two scoops cup or cone. They also have pints of the many flavors ready to go.“

The ice cream of course was wonderful but I think the cone itself...The waffle cone was a little on the hard side. Maybe it just got cooked a little too much on that day. “Goldie wanted to get some writing done and we both wanted to try out a new coffee spot. As always, I headed to Yelp to get some recommendations and decided to give Gong Cha a try. It’s a really cute location. It sits in the strip next to Wendys and has easy access on and off the main road. The establishment is super spacious and very clean. The environment is very neutral and provides for a great multi-optional coffee and date/work/catch up with friends kind of vibe. The menu has soooooooooo many things to choose from. It's hard to even figure out what flavor profile to try. As this was my first time I cheated and listened to what the lady I. Front of me ordered. LoL! Based on her order I asked her for a recommendation and she told me her fave and her daughters fave. I decided to give the daughters fave a try. Before I tell you about the taste, let me just say, the visual appeal is AhhhhhMazing! Brown Sugar Coffee Milk Tea Cold Large Reg Ice Half Brown Sugar (50%) No Topping I’ll be honest! I have no idea what I ordered but I am glad I ordered it. It puts you in the mindset of Chocolate Milk married to Coffee with a Brown Sugar almost Caramel-ish flavor additive. It was truly a good drink. It wasn’t too simple or too complex. The flavor blends matched well and nothing overpowered anything. There are a few more options on the menu that I have to try. I will certainly be back!“
