Every meal has been outstanding, staff is on point , can't say enough greats things about CHR. So happy they are in Gainesville. Gainesville needed a top tier restaurant downtown. The bar is outstanding, Nicole and her staff's cocktails creations will amaze you. After dinner try a Chocolate Expresso Martini for the best after dinner ever.

Okay…we had reservations for last night (Halloween). We were a tiny bit late due to the traffic of Halloween. We entered the front door and the place had great appeal. It was quite nice. We were seated quickly, but we were sat directly next to the kitchen runners aisle. Not the best impression but we went with it. Located in Buford, CHR Steak is a steakhouse offering a five-star experience. The atmosphere is amazing, luxurious yet relaxing. The food is exceptional and delicious. The steaks are cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and seasoned just right, melting in the mouth. Every side dish and sauce complements the meal perfectly; the street corn is outstanding and the desert cake is overly huge with great flavor and moistness. The drinks are made with pure talent and fresh ingredients. The service is excellent, with attentive staff who know the menu and make wonderful suggestions. Diners have enjoyed date nights, anniversary celebrations, and Father’s Day dinners, noting that every bite feels like a celebration. While making reservations online can be a challenge, the overall experience is fantastic. Guests leave feeling they have had the best food and best experience in the area, and they will definitely be returning.
