“Six out-of-state law enforcement and search-and-rescue pilots and crew members were looking for a good place to sit down and enjoy breakfast before heading to VertiCon. We came across Sammy’s and were immediately impressed by how clean and welcoming the establishment was. The staff were exceptional and made us feel right at home.

At first, we were a little hesitant when we noticed the breakfast menu only had two items and wondered if we might have picked the wrong spot. After the first bite of the sandwich, though, we quickly realized we couldn’t have been more wrong. It was easily one of the best breakfast sandwiches any of us have had.

If you’re in Atlanta, skip the fast-food drive-thru and stop by Sammy’s instead. You won’t regret it. Our crew certainly didn’t, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

“This place is really good. They have a variety of fantastic & unique sandwiches, and all of the ones I’ve tried have been excellent. They are exceptionally balanced and well crafted. The price is very reasonable, at around $6 a sandwich (they’re small so you might want two).

“Overall a nice spot to grab a quick lunch in Decatur. The sandwiches are pretty small and quality can vary. The Little Havana sandwich I had was flavorful but the meat was dry. My partner enjoyed her VLT but found the pimento cheese side underwhelming. During their busy time it can be loud but the atmosphere and service very good.“

Made my own flavor (honey, butter ranch, garlic pepper) Their phillys come in 8” or 12” foot long, My husband ordered the foot long Philly steak w/ shrimp on it. I also ordered a slice of red velvet cake, and it’s verified! The cream cheese IS in the icing! Speaking of cream cheese, They also have a Redvelvet cheesecake! I’m going to try that or the chocolate cake next time. The sweet tea was official 10/10 y’all know I don’t play about my sweet tea. So much variety on the menu, I choose not to elaborate. I got my food and it was fresh, piping HOT & delicious, the fries were just ok. Service was great and prices comparable to the area.“

“Me and my family comes in to the Decatur location every weekend (Friday and Saturday mornings ) and it's always between 10AM and 12Noon. There's always two employees there until about 11:30 -12:00 and it's always the same two. I think their names are Regina and Anayasha They're always very helpful and the attitudes and energy is always lifted and beautiful ( and might i add .. funny ) . It is always just the two of them for a while before anyone comes in and they seem to always get every customer taken care of and make sure things are done in a timely fashion .i have witnessed this for a few weeks straight and have never seen anyone get upset or impatient. That is the type of gem work that is needed and appreciated. I am not sure if two people on a shift have always been a thing but those two young ladies have always made me and my family feel welcomed and i can't wait to see them again this weekend! Thanks this has become my favorite location“
