They have a couple tables out back. Needs some attention.
I went today with my daughter. We got a funnel cake, cheese sticks, macaroni bites and fried green tomatoes. Everything was fresh and delicious. The gentleman working was super friendly also!
Where the locals get their pretzels! Several employees in the Helen area recommended this snack shack. It's in the back. If you're on the main sidewalk you need to go down that tunnel and all the way to the end near the employee parking lot. Don't be put off by the hole in the wall vibe. Staff was so friendly and kind. Tucked away at the end of a small alley in Helen, GA, Snack Shack is where the locals get their pretzels. The pretzel comes in a pizza box and is the biggest, softest, and warmest around, with extra dip. The $15 Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese was the best pretzel ever, coming out hot as heck. The pretzel and pickle fries were the best, and the fried oreos and fried pickles with ranch are also highlights. Everything was fresh and delicious, from funnel cakes and cheese sticks to macaroni bites and fried green tomatoes. The staff is super friendly, kind, and good-spirited, with one nice guy even walking an order over to a nearby shop. It's a perfect spot for quick, delicious food with free water for pets. Don't be put off by the hole-in-the-wall vibe; the prices are great, and this is not the candy store. Stop by and you won't regret it.
