“A friend of mine brought me Biscuit Express a couple of rainy mornings! So I'm not experienced with their service. I can tell you that their sausage biscuits a wonderful! The biscuit was perfect, not too small, not too large, just right. And it was delicious. Also, I had a breakfast bowl! Yummy, Yummy, as well! And y'all, the low price of the food was what got me. It was less than $15 for three people to have breakfast biscuits.“

“I went to update my driver's license in ATHENS, GA this morning and my breakfast near me search was in HULL (MADISON COUNTY). This spot had a jammed packed parking lot. But some folks do take out so I got a space. Came inside and saw people were lined up at the counter to order, pick up, and pay. There were plenty of tables and a long counter available for sit down diners. The man in front of me ordered eggs, ham, and bacon. And the young lady behind the counter kept piling meat on his take out container. I was wondering if he ordered double servings... So I went for BREAKFAST COMBO PLATE #2 - HOMEMADE SCRABBLED EGGS. LARGE HOME MADE BUTTERMILK BISCUIT (CUBED) AND SMOTHERED WITH TWO LADLES OF WHITE COUNTRY GRAVY, AND 5 PIECES OF CRISP BACON. I got a cash discount and paid $8 for the food! With a large sweet tea the total came to $10.25. There is a unisex bathroom that is handicap accessible. My cellular service was spotty but I was able to input the GPS coordinates in my car before leaving DDS. It's almost 1PM and I am still full!!Parking: Business is steady and the parking lot is at capacity but many people do take out.Kid-friendliness: Casual dining spot perfect for families or solo diners.“

“The setting of an old house is quaint. Not too stuffy but not too casual either. Parking was a little tight. We were sat right away with our reservation. 6:15 on a Monday, not too busy. The main dining room was a little chilly. We figured they were expecting more customers and it would warm up. Tables are metal legs with wooden tops, chairs were ok and everything was acceptably clean. The hostess was nice, we were given water and menus right away. Menus also included the happy hour specials and a list of bottle wine specials.Happy hour gimlet was good and the local lager was too.The charcuterie board was ok. We stretched it to feed 5. The Sun-choke jelly was ugly but de-li-cious!Our server was personable. We asked questions about the menu and various waitstaff members either could or unfortunately could not answer them. Our impression was that there wasn’t much of a ‘team work’ vibe happening.Beet salad okMushroom soup ok but needed a little kick of somethingThey were out of dumplings! We later found out that a large party of economic conference guests were sat in another room and we figured they were given dibs. We were offered extra sourdough bread which worked out as a good alternative for sopping up the juices.The trout okThe schnitzel was given a 9/10 from everyone who ordered it.We weren’t going to order dessert but because of the “no dumplings” and a late entree, we were comped and we ordered one of each.The lemon cake—needs work, tasted floury and heavyThe chocolate offering— too bitter but…the banana ice cream was amazingThe orange pavlova—-10/10! Best thing we ate—perfect treat.We enjoyed a leisurely very good meal and would recommend this restaurant for adult diners, date night, special occasion, or as a treat.There is outdoor/patio seating.“

“Oh my, my my how it has changed since the last time I ate there. The service was waaaay more friendly than it was 3 maybe 4 yrs ago, maybe longer. I hadn't ate there in YEARS the man was so hateful & rude. Now tho, the food is so good I couldn't stop eating even when I got full & the atmosphere is way better. Little creepy cause it was almost like stepford wives cause they smiled so much and almost was to much , but I'd rather to much smiling over rudeness anyway. Definitely gonna start going bk“

Not in every USA can you eat well, a place where you can take your family and the service is impeccable, it is not expensive at all for the product they serve, good wine and I love the decoration. “Best quality food. Full of flavor and inexpensive which is rare these days. Check out the express menu! Will post a pic. My favorite breakfast place in athens so far! The sausage gravy is made with chicken and it’s the best I’ve had and not greasy! Don’t miss this place of you visiting!Parking: Not many but dirt lot to the right and asphalt behind but requires about 100 steps to get there. There’s one handicap spot and a few regular spots right next to it.Wheelchair accessibility: In the single handicap spot.“

“Love the fresh veggies that can be grilled. Just feels like a more healthy alternative to all the fast food options. One thing I would love to see that would make this super fantastic is add cauliflower rice as a base for those who are eating low carb. Food is so good, I highly recommend.“

The lady running the stand that day gave us a hotdogs to try. While she did not have to do this, it meant a lot to me.Thank you. “Affordable, good flavors and truly homemade.Best biscuit in town!!They have drive-thru. Inside they only have a couple of tables and in the porch they have 3 more tables, so it's tiny but great.Parking: Just don't park on the long sides of the building, they use it to pick up and deliver drive-thru orders.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp on the side of the building.“

“First visit to Gusto! and I was impressed by the service and food. The dining space seemed a bit cramped but it was well maintained and well lit. We grabbed food to go so it's a bit of a moot point.In fact, the lighting in the restaurant is one of the factors to catch my eye. It sounds strange, perhaps, but every time I pass the restaurant at night it looks much more inviting than the neighboring spots.Gusto! Also has plenty of outdoor seating that I intend to try out once the weather is a bit warmer.The food was delicious, fresh and ready to go so quickly that I hadn't even paid for it when it was available. The portions were good sized- the bowl filled me up- and the ingredients were well balanced.While the menu appears limited, there is plenty of variety. I especially appreciated the opportunity to choose from several bowl bases and the ability to customize my meal with add ones such as fresh avacado.The person taking orders was friendly and helpful to an absolute newbie. “Came here this week and got seated right away because it was UGA's spring break and we opted for greenhouse seating outside. For appetizers we had crab cakes and it's the best crab cakes I've ever had. Not much bread filling probably all crab meat! For my entree, I had the trout and corn grits. It's the best grits I've ever had and I normally do not like grits!! It also came with okra. Everything was cooked to perfection. For dessert I had the peach cake. I had a bite and took the rest home. I finally got around to finishing it two days later (stored in the fridge of course) and it was even more delicious!! I want to come back here! It was recommended by my co worker and I will now recommend it to anyone going to Athens!! *chefs kiss* Also The greenhouse was comfortable to sit in this was about 7pm at night, second week of March and weather was 60s. A small heater was provided but not needed. There is a similar concept in downtown Atlanta but instead of a greenhouse it's an igloo and honestly this greenhouse was wayyyy better. I was more comfortable because there was better airflow and sound acoustics was not annoying.“

“Went to Clocked for lunch Sunday, had the garlic and provolone burger special, with tater tots and feta dipping sauce. Had the Carrie Miller cocktail. Was very impressed with everything. Our waiter was awesome. He had curly hair and was very attentive. So glad we stopped!!“

“The pharmacy is really quick. The prices are competitive and the kitchen/store is adorable. Reminds me of the old dime stores like Ben Franklins or the old soda fountain bars from when I was a kid. Not sure if anyone knows what a Ben Franklins is down south. I think I'll try breakfast tomorrow morning while I wait for my scripts. I haven't eaten there yet, so I'll review and post pics after.“

“The food is really good! Lots of options. You definitely never have to eat the same thing twice.The food is hot and fresh.Service is good. The menu can seem a little overwhelming at your first visit. Just ask, they will be happy to explain. They also have menus at the register.The atmosphere is okay. Limited indoor seating and it's kind of a cafeteria feel.They do have outdoor seating if the weather is nice.Vegetarian options: 95% of the menu is vegan! They have some meats and she said the Mac n cheese was not vegan.“

“Our favorite restaurant in Athens, by far! Service and food have always been top notch. I love that the owner mingles with the patrons. It is quaint and has a wonderful vibe. We love having a variety of things to try that comes with a tapas menu. The pimento cheese crostini are my favorite, with the okra and sliders a close second - simply delicious. The restaurant has a bar downstairs with a more casual atmosphere. My husband and I would love to eat here more often if parking weren't such a challenge, but that's part of being in such a charming and popular area of town!“

We enjoyed the fish & Chips but were annoyed to be charged $1 for an extra tiny serving of tartar sauce for a two piece serving of fish. Cocktails were potent & good but extremely expensive and really small. Service was good.“

He can't have gluten due to Celiac Disease, and they accommodated him so beautifully and in such a friendly way that we felt like honored guests instead of the problem table due to his food restrictions. We have gone in or ordered out several times and have loved every part of the experience, from the amazing food (our stockings were packed with their packaged foods this year), to the cozy and elevated atmosphere, to the top-notch service at all times.I'm so saddened that this place is closing down. “It's a waffle house, just good waffles and hash browns. Love scatter smothered covered and chunked, friendly helpful staff. Although not too expensive times have changed and it cost us $30 to eat at waffle House when just a few years ago it was barely $20 for what we get.“

As we no longer buy anheuser-bush products due to there past advertising mistakes. We got a bit thirsty. The atmosphere is great the staff was very professional and friendly.
