“We were staying on the island five days and discovered this restaurant the last night. It was the best food we tasted, the service was great, and the prices and quantity! Oh - and a great view! There were four of us and we all order something different along with appetizers!!! Everything was delicious!!!!! The only negative was it was our last night and we couldn’t go back the next day!!! We will definitely go again when visiting the island!!!”

“The convention center is fantastic—always clean, with plenty of parking available. How can you complain when the beach is just steps away? After your convention, you can jump in the ocean or take a walk and rinse off at the beach. It doesn't get any better than this!”

“Eating breakfast here was a glorious experience, echoing grandeur of the Gilded Age through the opulent Roaring Twenties.

My family and I had breakfast reservations for four at 8:30am on a weekday. The dining room was set to perfection as we were greeted with a welcoming smile and offered to pick any table we preferred. We selected a table by the window. It was wonderful to see a dining room set with fine China again. It seems rare nowadays.

Once settled, we were promptly offered tea, coffee, or a collection of juices before embarking on the breakfast buffet and omelet station. There were no lines yet being so early on a weekday, but my oh my, what a beautiful feast! I was apprehensive that the food would be generic given the continental selection, but I was pleasantly impressed by the tastes, presentations, and twists to the menu. The French toast and overnight oats were my favorite, with a close third place by the bacon.

In addition to the delicious food, the wait staff was attentive and happy. The tables were nicely spaced to keep the dining room at a quiet noise level. And the coffee and pots of tea kept flowing. A big plus!

The only negative I can find with my dining experience is that I was mistaken that the extra fruit juices I ordered a la carte were part of the breakfast buffet. I wish I had known that only the juices on the buffet tables were included. However, when you are dining at such a fine dining establishment, you do not mind the extra price.

“Nice venue, has been upgraded since we last visited. chicken schnitzel was great and love the their take on fries. Napkins are silly small, but that’s a minor issue. They had a duo performing and that gave the place a nice vibe. Sit up at the counter space or use the patio. It’s a nice setting to relax.”

“What a gem! I love finding new (to me) coffee shops that are not chains. I love it even more when the coffee is good. They may their own chocolate syrup and it's yummy! If you're in the area, this is worth a stop!”

“This is a great little shop in a historic building. We had such a fun time picking out many, many different sweets to try. The giant buckeyes are the best I’ve ever had. The fudge is fantastic. Great place for gifts too.”

“The deli sandwich’s were fresh. Nothing fancy. Good choice if you want fresh over fried and greasy.
The tuna salad was really good, I think a different bread would be better. The Italian was overwhelmed on a ciabatta roll and should be warmed not cold. The California club was decent.

This is a market with several vendors and a small grocery store/sunblock etc. It’s overwhelming and very hard to walk around if crowded. You pay at different registers for certain items. I would go back but would request what I prefer instead of going how it comes off the menu.”
