“What a great find on the island. So many vegan or easily-modified vegan choices. I had the Mexican bowl, swapping squash for cauliflower. The bowl also had quinoa, black beans, mixed greens, avocado, pico, and pepitas. I added blackened tofu. The tofu was 8 oz, not the puny serving some places give you. “Stopped in while visiting SSI. Did my research, ordered pumpkin latte lager (just ran out) chose Mexican Lager, really tasty, worthy of review praise. My wife had the JD Barrell aged stout and loved it! It was tasty.
Wanted to eat from scheduled food truck (no show) so we ordered from Hootenany's bbq, which was fantastic.....overall, decent brewery, friendly staff. We would go back again“

“The Glynn Academy Girl's Golf Team won the 6A State Championship on Tuesday, May 17, at the Jekyll Island Golf Club. They chose to celebrate together at Marshside afterwards. Once the waitress/owner found out they were State Champs, they put all of their meals on the house. What a super generous thing for them to do to show their support for their local High School! “We googled good seafood on our stay in St. Simons and Jinrights popped up and we are so glad it did. Not only was the food delicious, the staff was great, and the portions were huge! They were short staffed the night we went and ended up having to close early but their staff still went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. The food was phenomenal. My husband and I shared the platter for 2 and had it broiled. When they ask if you want scallops and oysters, just say yes! The kids meals were good and kept them happy and bellies full. The prices are comparable to those more popular places on the island, but the food quantity does not compare!We will definitely be back next time we are in town!!“
