“There seemed to be limited staff the day we went so it took a while to get a table even though I booked with open table, but that didn't stop the staff delivering an excellent service 👍🏻 The food was outstanding and you get very large portions, just a little on the pricey side. Worth it though. If you're not seated in a booth then the indoor seating can be a little hard on the butt, this is my only gripe. “I’m a very opinionated person and I’m tough to be completely impressed with a restaurant, but this place was awesome. I was at first concerned as my family was would we like the food. Well just to let everyone know if you like trying new stuff or like to experience different food this is the place to go. I’ve never gave a restaurant a 5 thumbs up 👍🏼, but I was so impressed and my 12 year old granddaughter was also as much as my cousin and her 17 year old daughter. The vibe was awesome the waitress and manager made us feel so welcome even the hostess was really friendly. We sat outside and it was so relaxing and cozy. I can’t even brag enough on the food, workers, and the atmosphere there. We are already planning birthday trips and having family join us for the experience. Go try for yourself and have an open mind about the food. We were like ummm not so sure, but the blends were out of this world. ❤️🙌🙌“

“Back in July, I had one of the kindest and most heartwarming experiences at this Iguanas . While I was waiting for my food, I suddenly had a low blood sugar episode. As someone with type 1 diabetes, those moments can be really scary because they can sneak up on you out of nowhere. Without hesitation, the waitress noticed what was happening and went completely out of her way to bring me something right away before my meal was ready. She didn’t just stop there she continued to check in on me the entire time I was there, making sure I felt okay and had what I needed. That small act of kindness may not seem like much to some, but to me, it meant absolutely everything. In that moment, she turned what could have been a stressful experience into one filled with comfort and genuine care. It reminded me how much of an impact simple compassion can have on someone’s day. “One of the best meals I've eaten in awhile. Every single thing we tried was incredible, from the red snapper to the blackened shrimp to the red beans & rice and bread pudding. “I have reviewed over 100 sushi restaurants. This is my first in GA. I was really surprised how cheap the prices were. Probably 30-40% cheaper than michigan or California. Quality of sushi was great. Decent variety. It was fresh. Sunomono salad was great and for the price had a surprising amount of fish in it. I dont like cooked rolls and between cooked and simple rolls they had a lot. But they let me customize some of the simpler rolls to be what I wanted with no complaints. Surf clam, octopus and salmon were excellent. The tuna was ok. Was still fresh but just very basic quality. Service was consistent and good. We were promptly served. Atmosphere is basic and clean.“

“Me and my husband have ate here on several occasions and the service is outstanding along with the food. We drive about an hour to get there, but it’s well worth the drive every time. We highly recommend trying their build your own pizzas along with their already deliciously made menu items. We’ve tried several of their items and it’s always delicious! We love the feel of this little pizza diner. Just looking at all the old rock and roll vinyl records on the wall will take you back in time and you’ll start reminiscing about the old times growing up listening to what we like to call real music. Because back then it was real raw talent, which was the best music.“

“We got there about 20 minutes before closing. Normally I don’t like going to any restaurant unless it is at least 30 minutes before closing but we were starving and there weren’t a lot of choices. The waitress was so friendly, and the service was fantastic. We ordered pizza, wings and some cheese bread. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The pizza was excellent. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for pizza. I tipped the waitress 50% for being so great even though we got there so late. I will definitely be back.“

“The Glynn Academy Girl's Golf Team won the 6A State Championship on Tuesday, May 17, at the Jekyll Island Golf Club. They chose to celebrate together at Marshside afterwards. Once the waitress/owner found out they were State Champs, they put all of their meals on the house. What a super generous thing for them to do to show their support for their local High School! “What a wonderful treat dining in The Lodge at Sea Island Oak Room was for my wife and I. We stopped in on a slow post-Thanksgiving weekday evening and were treated to a wonderful delicious dinner. Our server Cericka was excellent. We were seated quickly by the hostess and ordered two Prosecco's. We enjoyed a delicious mini biscuits with bacon butter appetizer. My wife ordered a wonderful 6oz filet with Boursin whipped potatoes, roasted autumn veggies, and scallion steak sauce. I ordered the blackened Redfish with crab fried rice, green gumbo, and pickled Okra. Both entrees were served hot and were delicious. Bon Appetit“

“My food was hot and brought out within a timely manner. My lemon pepper sprinkles were left off but they had no problem correcting that and apologized. They treated me the same as the person in front of me and behind me. The young woman up front was holding it down while they were busy. Been here many times and thought it was overdue for my opinion.“

“We had the fried and blackened shrimp, which were both delicious, and a gin and tonic to go with it. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, and a good spot to grab a meal while on the island. The folks next to us had the crab soup and raved how good it was. Will come back and try that next time.
