They also sell really strong Vietnamese coffee cafe sua da; I would be awake for days drinking it, lol. Their noodles and goi cuon are yummy, too. “OMG, I finally found a restaurant with beef noodle soup that is closest to the taste in Vietnam. The beef noodle soup here has rare beef, flowered beef shank (not the meat used for pho), blood, pork sausage, Hue pepper rolls, rich broth with meat stew, lemongrass, not onion, garlic, lemongrass and then poured into a bowl. . Looks simple but keeps the flavor of beef noodle soup! Highly recommend!!!!“

“I’d been craving authentic traditional Banh mi for several weeks. On 9/10/24, I was shopping in a different area than I live or work. I Googled and Yelped Vietnamese food in the area. Banh Mi Cafe had high ratings on both platforms and the photos on both platforms revealed a place that didn’t look overly “commercial”. I knew I was going out on a limb ordering at a new (to me) Vietnamese restaurant in the midst of a craving. It’s almost like stacking the deck against the restaurant. But, that day logic was overwhelmed by the craving and I was willing to take the risk. First good sign - when I arrived, prior to dinner but well after lunch, there were a couple of families dining in, and someone getting take out. Second good sign- The atmosphere as depicted in the pictures felt very homey and service provided was pleasant and courteous. The ultimate sign - my take out order was the Banh Mi Dac Biet, Banh Mi Thit Nuong, Banh Mi Tom Nuong, and Pho Dac Biet. Banh Mi Cafe not only satisfied my craving for authentic Vietnamese it exceeded my expectations. The food was flavorful and bright. After we finished our meal, my husband said, “this is so good, I can eat this every week!”“

“This place is very cozy and the cashier was so nice! The banh mis are made fresh so it does take a little longer but it’s so worth it. Everything is well balanced. Bread was fluffy and crunchy. The Vietnamese sauce compliments the juicy crispy wings. No dipping sauce needed for their wings. The grilled pork banh mi - get the pate added and it’ll set it off. The pork was tender and smoky. They have sugarcane juice which was the best refreshing drink for a hot summer day. It’s a modern Vietnamese fusion spot that actually does it right. “I've been coming to Saigon Cafe for years. I used to go to the one that used to be in Gwinnett Marketfair shopping plaza. I always get the same thing, Spicy Basil dinner with chicken and I like it Thai hot. Tonight, they delivered 🙌 it's burning my lips off in the best way. “I see a lot of complaints that I can tell are from people who have never had authentic gỏi gà (chicken salad). The chicken is suppose to be served cold in the salad. The chicken is suppose to be bland because it’s eaten with the ginger nước mắm. You can adjust the saltiness of your soup with nước mắm from the bottle or the ginger nước mắm dipping sauce.

We ordered the bánh canh gà, mì gà, and cơm gà, gỏi bắp cải, bắp chuối. Everything tasted great but I would especially recommend their salad and chicken rice. That’s really the star of the menu. It’s the best chicken salad I’ve had in Atlanta besides making it myself. The price is reasonable. All waiters in Asian restaurants just take your order, bring your food, and leave you alone to join. The service is not better or worse than any other Vietnamese restaurant.“

We went on Thursday night dinner and all table was full. Recommend making reservations for dinner.
I was nervous about mango and fried wings but appetizer mango wings were our favorite!
Chicken wings were so tender and juicy yet skins were so crispy. The sauce was flavorful and mango was extra kick and made it even better.
Definitely recommend soft shell pineapple curry. On the website, crabs were in the curry but it came out on the side. I recommend putting them in your curry it will observe the curry sauce and make the shell softer !
We also really enjoyed green tea cheesecake with ice cream.

I enjoyed district III since you enjoy both Vietnamese food and thai food at the same time.

We either come back if it’s good or don’t come back if it’s not good. Food is excellent and still the same for past 15 years and the same owners. My favorite is bún chả cá (fish cakes noodles) and bánh canh cua (crab noodles). My husband likes cơm tấm đặc biệt 7 món (7 special combinations broken rice) and bún bò huế (spicy beef noodles). Ở đây các nhân viên bán hàng vui vẻ niềm nở giới thiệu các thức ăn rất tận tình với khách hàng mà thực sự nói thức ăn ở đây rất ngon và rẻ. Cũng như vậy sau khi đi chơi biển xong trên đường về mình có ghé tiệm VN ToFu mua gần $ 300 dollar thức ăn đem về. Thích nhất là bánh mì mua 5 tặng 1. Đặc biệt ở đây các nhân viên nói được cả 2 thứ tiếng Việt và Anh. Có phần khen ngợi các nhân viên trẻ nói tiếng việt quá giỏi. Sau này nếu có xuống Atlanta Georgia nhất định mình sẽ đến VN ToFu.“
