Paris Baguette is a cute, big open restaurant in Kennesaw with incredible baked goods and pastries. The food is exceptional, delicious, and perfect; customers are never disappointed. Specific items like the ham and swiss roll, matcha, and tuna sandwich are noted as top tier and amazing. The bakery is great, and everything is clean.
However, the service leaves quite a bit of room for improvement. While service can be fast and super friendly, and some staff are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable, the front service is only okay friendly. It lacks bakery warmth and often shows a deficit in product knowledge, being unfamiliar with both pastries and coffee. Training is recommended. The coffee-making process needs improvement, though one barista matches the taste of another location and some staff give great drink recommendations. The coffee itself is very good and reasonably priced.
A significant issue involves hours and availability. The location advertises opening at 6 a.m., but is not ready at that time, sometimes opening later. Their hours of operation are not accurate. In the morning, the selection is minimal; only half of the pastries are available, and items like quiche require a wait. Not all pastries are available at 7 a.m., and the full selection is not out until about 9 a.m. This leads to frustration, with customers sometimes going to Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts. There have also been issues with Uber Eats orders where items are out of stock. The wait in line can be too long, suggesting a need for more cashiers during busy times.
Observations about staff include that Pastry Chefs are sometimes seen wearing their chef coats into the restrooms, which is noted as questionable. Overall, the food is good though a little pricey, but inconsistencies in opening, preparation, and morning pastry options present a challenge.
