“Dissapointed in Big Kahuna dog. No creole mustard, no pickled onions, the "housemade slaw" was shredded cabbage, the cherry pepper relish was pickle relish out of a jar. When I mentioned it to the girl at the counter after I received it , she said we are out of most of the ingredients on the menu and they stopped putting creole mustard on it because people said it was too spicy. Lol. Total lack of communication between the kitchen and the counter staff. We all have to 86/sub items, But you should tell the customer what he's getting so his expectations are not dashed. I know it's just a hot dog and I ate it because I was hungry and the actual hot dog was good, but they didn't get anything close to what it should have been.“

🍸 And, the cocktails! Oscar, the savant mixologist who designs the drink menu, has truly outdone himself with unique, creative, and balanced flavors. Boxcar has an excellent craft beer menu, but you must try their cocktails as well because they are divine.

“My husband and I was looking for some place new to go for dinner and i found this place on the internet. We had never heard of it and it was close to our home so we decided to check it out. The set up is nice. I believe there are 3 or 4 dinning rooms. The staff was really nice and very attentive. We didnt make any reservations which they do prefer but they sat us still without a wait. The drinks were really good and they did not hold out on the amount of alcohol. Now the dinner. OMG Dinner was off the chain. I tip my hat off to the chef. I had the Honey Glaze Salmon and my husband is vegan so he had The Smoked spinach Asparagus Mashed potatoes and Brocolini. When I tell you this had to be the best food with so much flavor. We were more then pleased. The only complaint we have is the music got really loud. If couldnt hear each other even if you are sitting right next o each other. But other then that I will definitely return and I must say I am adding this to my list of best restaurants in Atlanta.“

I just got a bowl and she was cursing me out under her breath and called me weird for asking for extra sauce rolling her eyes and sucking her teeth. “This is the best bar on the southside. Manny is the best bartender in my opinion. He always acknowledges you when you come in and makes sure you have a good time. Nick and a few other staff also are good about stepping in to help out it make's your experience great. This bar gives you that home away from home vibe most of us in our 30s look for.“

“The atmosphere here is the best on Sundays during jazz night! It feels warm and welcoming to be around people while the jazz band plays. I have gone twice to play billards, and the rates are 10 dollars an hour.

The only problem I have is that service takes forever! I do understand that there are not that many workers but you could be in a line for a while just to order food. There would also be tables that would not be cleaned for a while. However, the waiters themselves are very sweet when they get to you!

The food here is kinda greasy but good! The nachos are probably the highlight as they are delicious and can be easily shared between 3 people.

Overall, it feels like an amazing place to have a night out with a group!“

“The atmosphere belies the fantastic food. Drinks are served in plastic cups. The silverware is prepackaged plastic. Ignore all that. The food is phenomenal. We are two old white folks who absolutely do not meet the criteria for this very hip and urban feeling hooka bar. Didnt matter as we were warmly welcomed and Desiree at the bar took very good care of us. The lamb chops were excellent, with the best fried okra I have ever had in my life. The blackened alfredo pasta with shrimp was served in a very cute bowl and tasted fantastic. The chef even came out and asked how things were. I absolutely recommend the drip sauce on the lamb and anywhere else it comes. Just don’t be turned off by the adverts. Probably some of the Best food in Atlanta we have had“

“Tried here based on options on the menu and location to hotel. Tried smoked wings and Brussel sprouts. They were fantastic, but over the top service was from the front. Rain did a fantastic job. She was overwhelmed with serving bar as well as taking orders and she did fantastic. Never let me feel unwanted or needing something, very tentative and just great, especially under the added pressure of serving bar as well as waiting on patrons. Rain is the what customer service should look like very appreciative and thankful for all patrons that come in.“

“When I lived in Clayton County, almost every other Friday my mom or dad would go here and get us something to eat. For me, it was either the chicken tenders or wings. The customer service is absolutely great and there was a young girl that used to work the counter sometimes (I believe a family owns it). My dad loves the owner/worker (his name is Kevin) and if this is your first time eating here, I'd highly suggest you keep revisiting. Also, the food tastes the same even when my grandpa gets me it sometimes.“

“This place is a true gem especially if you like wings. When I went out didn't take me long at all to get my food. The wings were so crunchy and delicious, couldn't get enough of it. Mac and cheese was delicious as well.... Wish the Mac and cheese portion was a little bigger that's my only tiny complaint also wish it was open more often. Other than that I'd spend a good deal of my little money here.“

“Honestly the wings were fire ?. Similar size of wing to what u get in American deli etc.. but for me these were better, the hot lemon pepper or the honey BBQ always hit. Parking: About 9 spots in front of the restaurant never full can always find a spot since not many people dine inside. Usually just a takeout spot.“

I was upset because the 20% tip was added in without my knowledge and not pointed out until I plan to tip separately. Tips are not mandatory and i was caught off guard with the amount and especially with it being included without presenting me with the bill. I will not do business their again.“
