“I know wings and this place serves the best wings in town. The extra spicy sauce is just right for the general public that enjoys a little more kick in their wings sauce. I’ll swing back by and offer the owner some of our Pepper Guru sauce to try out if they are interested. We grow the rarest and also some of the hottest peppers from all around the world. Would love to see this place offering it as a toss flavor for the real spice lovers out there! Get the Philly and wing combo! You’ll love it. “Stopped in to order two pecan waffles for my mother and my breakfast this morning. Waffles were nice and crispy and we added pecans. Service was fast and friendly. Love everything at Waffle House.Plenty of free parking as well. Right on Anvilblock in Ellenwood.“

“The Corner Grille is hidden gem on Mainstreet. The service was exceptional! Our server well explained everything divine on the menu. I had the special of fried rainbow trout with savory grits and delicious cream sauce. My husband had a cheeseburger and garlic mash that he said was amazing. We also had the fried brussel sprouts that came with cream sauce the was very tasty. My favorite was the gumbo, so flavorful! Will definitely be back for more!“

“I arrived in the morning on an international flight and took stock of my food and wine options.Most of the offerings in the Atlanta airport seem pretty much chain garbage and no good wine offerings. One Flew South fit the bill. I had the breakfast rice bowl (poached eggs, mushroom, kimchi etc.) with a glass of white burgundy. It hit the spot and the service was very friendly. Also, it was a chill vibe l inside which gave me a chance to mentally reset from the hustle and bustle outside. I'm glad I took a minute to find this place.“

“I am never disappointed when I dine at Nouveau in Jonesboro. I've eaten here numerous times over the past year for brunch, dinner and even closed the place one night! Each time I am pleased and impressed by the food, the service and the atmosphere. The owner must really respect her staff because this past Easter, the only menu available was brunch. Not only does this increase food delivery time, it relieves some of the stress the staff takes on with offering a limited(yet delicious) menu. Because some patrons can be......a little extra. “Tiny no-frills airport bar tucked down at the end of Concourse A. It's definitely not a big space, and there's not much in the way of seating that's not at the bar. And that's OK. The menu is also small, but mains are served all day. The beer selection isn't huge either, but there's a nice mix of mega brands and local Atlanta beer, which is nice.Look. You're in ATL and going someplace else. Want a beer before the flight? This spot is better then most you'll find.“

“I love this place! I'm here for their specials. They have happy hour Monday through Friday from 12-8. $5 drink specials and $5 small bites. You can't beat prices! Angel made sure we were taken care of and I didn't even know she was a supervisor until I was leaving and she made sure we were ok and the service was top notch. Nirah took care of us at the bar and we had no issues! Nirah war personable and made sure we were taken care of in no time! Drinks slinging left and right. We never had to wait for anything we ordered. We sat at the bar and couldn't have picked better seats! The food is perfect and came out nice and hot. I'll be back soon for the karaoke night soon.“

But on Sunday my husband and I went in for “brunch”…. Let me tell y’all, the atmosphere combined with the perfect weather on the patio was perfect. His Texas Margarita and my Expresso Martini were made with perfection. Our server, Bri is the BOMB…even though she’s a Steeler’s fan. The expediters had our delicious, hot food out in record time. “I had the seafood penne pasta, it's loaded with salmon, shrimp and muscles. I opted for no muscles. The cream sauce for the pasta was very watery! They left the tail skin on the shrimp that you have to peel everytime you eat one (super messy). Service was great. Drinks were nice and strong! I got the Paloma w Hennessy instead of tequila.“

A Big Thank You to My Coffee Shop for opening up outside of business hours to provide delicious coffee, bagels and biscuits to the teachers and staff at Benteen. Not only does My Coffee Shop provide amazing food, coffee and basil lemonade, but the team there is always willing and happy to show up for the East Lake community.
