“OCG came highly recommended, so we decided to visit for brunch on July 5, 2026, and it exceeded our expectations.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The restaurant was cozy, spotless, and the music was set at the perfect volume—creating a relaxing ambiance where guests could comfortably enjoy conversation without having to raise their voices.

What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. My husband was feeling nauseated when we arrived, and although it wasn't on the menu, the staff thoughtfully prepared a cup of fresh ginger tea for him. That simple act of kindness made us feel less like customers and more like family guests.

We ordered the ackee and saltfish with ground provisions and the curry goat with roti, and both dishes were outstanding. The food was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and the portions were generous for the price.

We're already looking forward to returning on a Friday for their Seafood Friday event and on a Saturday evening for Caribbean Night.

“Really good island fried chicken. Loved it. Food is good. I see people on here complaining about the portion being to small and my response to that is: America is obese. There isn’t a bunch of overweight diabetic people walking around in other countries. So maybe you should accept the portion given to you and realize it’s proper.“
