“My family and I a total of ten of us dined at this restaurant. O my goodness, the food was delicious. We started off with some appetizers, spring roll and jerk chicken plantain nachos. They were delicious and filling. We ordered dinner and had to take it home, we were so stuffed. The manager Deja and hostess Desiree were exceptional. They provided everything we needed and checked on us constantly to see if we had further needs.Thanks ladies for a job well done.“

“The oxtails were delicious and the veggies had a really good taste and soft enough for elderly people. ??????????????✅ I haven’t seen the owner in about a week and a half. Is he alright? There are no signs of vacation on the door. Hope he’s ok ?.“

“The prices online are different (less) then once you arrive and order your food. Ordered the oxtails, white rice and veggies. Oxtails were a tad bit tough and hard to get meat off bone, mind you they only gave 5 oxtails 2 medium the rest small, the stemmed veggies could have been cooked a little more however the gravy used was yummy. Some food items are on menu (online and in the restaurant) however they do not have the feature food item. Management/owner very nice and the establishment is very clean.“

Let me tell you, these oxtails were out of this world! They were incredibly juicy and tender, practically melting in my mouth. The flavors were perfectly balanced, showcasing the expertise of the chefs in the kitchen. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. “Really good island fried chicken. Loved it. Food is good. I see people on here complaining about the portion being to small and my response to that is: America is obese. There isn’t a bunch of overweight diabetic people walking around in other countries. So maybe you should accept the portion given to you and realize it’s proper.“

“Let me just say lady at the register is very helpful an had a great attitude….it was my first time coming here yesterday 07/13/2024and lemme just say I wasn’t disappointed I came back today 07/14/2024 and got the exact same meal…….everything was cooked to order and full of wonderful flavors ? I enjoyed every bite on my plate☺️ this will be my new spots for now on…on my next appetite I can’t wait to try something new cuz I know I won’t be disappointed ?

“The food here is authentic and I love it.. They are open reasonably late at night. I've been here like 3 times now and the food has been great each time.. Food is vibrant in color, and very tasty. Now, the downside is there's normally a fly or 2 flying around. It's annoying, but to be expected since they grill is outside I think??. Not sure though.

All in all it's worth it to check them out. Just have patience because I've only seen one guy running this show by himself... Nice guy too.“

“Great authentic jamaican food. Staff is great and the owner is friendly. However, their portions got smaller. For the amount they charge for extra oxtail's, Banana Tree restaurant on Redan gives you double the amount of whole oxtails on a large plate with plantains. The food is good, but the portions are much smaller, including smaller amounts of rice.“

“I let my entire day pass by without eating knowing I was craving yard food all day. I’m not from this area so I was kind of second guessing trying a new place, but yea 1/1 I will recommend if your not exactly sure where to eat. I tried the jerk chicken rice and cabbage “
