I ordered the whiting and grits and it was really good. The only downfall is the staff's interaction with the customers. I tried to make eye contact in order to speak and even anticipated someone saying hello as they passed by, but there was none / nothing. All said, I will still recommend you try this spot
So for starters Aprils food is beyond delicious but one thing that I have to say that I don’t agree with is her hours the nerve of those hour to conduct business from Wednesday to Sunday and then only open on Saturday and Sunday until 4 PM people wanna come to her spot for a Saturday night dine in but instead she chooses to close at 4pm. I’ve had my share of soul food around GA/ this part of town and she takes the crown.

Our waiter was awesome and he understood our request and order. The food came out prefect I wish I had taken a photo. Next time I won’t forget. I order the Salmon Croquettes it came with grits, 2 eggs and French bread. My husband ordered the pork chop meal and could only finish one chop. We plan on bringing the family here to eat. Pleasantly surprised! Thank you a most enjoyable experience.
