“We tried Shorty's yesterday. It was a great experience we met John his lovey wife and his father. The are really sweet, friendly folks. Their food potatoe salad, bbq, Mac and cheese, slaw, peach cobbler and them drinks peach tea, strawberry lemonade was some of the best ever. We will definitely go back“

“My new favorite BBQ spot in Henry County. I had the Brisket Philly w/ Mac & Cheese and Brunswick Stew. My wife had the Brisket Grilled Cheese. Absolutely delicious. Best sweet tea in town too. “These folks are true southern soul food masters. The got a nice deck to eat on. The smoker is not hidden and the smell lured me in like pinfish to a snook.

I got the ox tails with yellow rice, mixed greens and mac n cheese. Loved the greens the mac n cheese was spirial pasta great for holding massive amounts of cheese it wasnt too fancy of a mac but literally perfect like gma makes!

Ox tails were fall off the bone perfect, smoke flavor was great and paired well with perfectly cooked yellow rice.

This place is a MUST HAVE! Anytime I pass thru Im grabbing some ox tails maybe the brisket too!!“

“I visited today with my wife and was pleasantly surprised. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated. The food was great but the service was what really made our visit superb. Our server Donika was fast, super friendly, and really attentive. 4/5 for the good food but 5/5 for Donika's service.“

“Did a curbside order tonight and meal was ready on time. I paid extra for a loaded potato but when I got bone there were no toppings in my bag, no bread or cinnamon butter and no utensils. I understand it is the Holidays but it doesn't take but a couple of minutes to double check orders. The other Texas Roadhouse we have tried have been great. I guess here in McDonough we will have to keep using Long Horns.“

I haven't been here in a long while.
The menu has been heavily scaled down. It was disappointing that the appetizers were limited down.
Nevertheless, my entrée was delicious and my service was stellar. My sincerest compliments to Madelyn and the gracious service provided.“
