“I visited today with my wife and was pleasantly surprised. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated. The food was great but the service was what really made our visit superb. Our server Donika was fast, super friendly, and really attentive. 4/5 for the good food but 5/5 for Donika's service.“

“I’ve heard of this place from many people. I have the luxury of working in Jackson for a couple days, and I had to try them. The place doesn’t look like much, but all the flavors are behind the door. Good food, good atmosphere, and great owners. The only thing that beats the food are the prices. If I get the luxury of coming back to Jackson Georgia, I’ll be eating here again.“

I come through here every now and then, and I always stop in and see these fine folks here, but this is the first time I've ordered food. I usually just go to buy vapes and have great conversation with the married couple there!
I love the South man. I love the people, that Southern hospitality, it's real. I'm almost tempted to go in there and just sit in the store with them and chit chat to pass the time!
Anyways, I ordered the brisket plate with double the collard greens. I'm on a carnivore / no carb kick, and it didn't help that they gave me a slice of bread (okay okay, I took A bite) But they're not to know my weird dietary trend this year.
The brisket was pretty good. A lot better than a lot of places! It was good enough for me to go back and order More food again the next time I'm through here, and that says a lot seeing how I'm a phenom in the smoke pit myself.
Collard greens were just stupid..MAN OH MAN were they good! They absolutely didn't need it, but I had some Tony Chacheri's and Louisiana red dot in the truck, so just sprinkled it up a little bit, but they were amongst the best greens I've had anywhere!
They don't really advertise their barbecue, I don't think, it's kind of something you just stumble on. My first couple times here making a purchase, I saw the smoke pit and the tables out back, but figured that they weren't cooking food. They probably were, and I probably missed out.
I'll probably be eating here again tomorrow, unless they're closed for church service, but I will definitely be eating here again the next time I come, along with my other regular purchases.

“Did a curbside order tonight and meal was ready on time. I paid extra for a loaded potato but when I got bone there were no toppings in my bag, no bread or cinnamon butter and no utensils. I understand it is the Holidays but it doesn't take but a couple of minutes to double check orders. The other Texas Roadhouse we have tried have been great. I guess here in McDonough we will have to keep using Long Horns.“

“Place was busy but we didn't wait to be seated. mushroom appetizers are amazing.
My steak was grilled perfectly.
The service was prompt and polite. Cheese cake for dessert was very good also.

“When I want yeast rolls and a steak- Logans it is.... the loaded sweet potato is good but it came out burned - this time the flavor was unharmed but in past it had been way over cooked.... steak was cooked perfect!! Rolls were hot and fresh!!! So overall it was a 7/10 visit....“

“We tried Shorty's yesterday. It was a great experience we met John his lovey wife and his father. The are really sweet, friendly folks. Their food potatoe salad, bbq, Mac and cheese, slaw, peach cobbler and them drinks peach tea, strawberry lemonade was some of the best ever. We will definitely go back“
