“We were craving for sushi and decided to try this well-established restaurant that has been around for 30+ years. It was a very cute place tucked behind a shopping plaza. For appetizers we got the shrimp teriyaki and the Kara-Age chicken, which was the perfect starter while we waited for our entrees. For entrees we got the salmon sashimi, spicy tuna roll, caterpillar roll and the sukiyaki dinner. The sukiyaki dinner came with salad, miso soup and a bowl of rice. The salmon sashimi was extremely fresh and melted in my mouth. The servings were very generous and we did not leave hungry. The owner/staff were very nice and treated us like family.“
“One of my "go to's" for Ramen. The portions are over the top, food is good, and always worth the drive.Indoors could use a little updating as it looks a little dated. Don't let this fool you however, the food more than makes up for it.*This place can get a little confusing if visiting for the 1st time. Your title "Newbie" will definitely shine if there are others in line. Grab a menu and jump out of line till you get your sea legs.Overall, a great bowl of Ramen.“
“Very solid sushi choice! We sat on the patio which had a very lovely koi pond along with a pellet machine to feed the fish! The interior looked very cute too. We split edamame which was decent. For entree, I got the Crispy Soy Roll which was amazing!! Great quality and flavor. My friend got the tofu appetizer and hibachi rice. The portions were huge! We also did ginger side salads and they were the biggest side salads I have ever gotten. You definitely get bang for your buck with everything. To drink I got wine and she did the sangria. It was too sweet for my liking but perfect for her. Service was admittedly a bit slow and there were some errors, but everyone was very kind, especially the front desk hostesses who offered us some change to feed the koi fish! Overall this is a great option especially if you're looking for sushi.“
“This place was amazing. The customer service was great. The food came out hot and fresh. The food size portion is nice. Our kids(3&8) are picky eaters but surprisingly loved the calamari and sushi. They have been asking to go back, which we will. You will not be disappointed.“
“I went here after a Braves game and from what I can remember (I had a few too many tequilas) it was sooo yummy. I got the spicy tuna sushi burrito and it was very spicy so be prepared. I won't lie my stomach was lowkey torn up the next day but sometimes sushi does that to me so idk fam. Overall it was good!“
“Pretty good ramen with friendly and fast staff. Very clean environment. Costs are averaging for what you would pay for ramen. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. If you don't know what to order the tonkatsu black is always your safest choice.“
“I recently dined at this restaurant and had a mixed experience. Let's start with the positives—the food was absolutely delicious! I especially recommend trying their sushi pizza, it was a unique and delightful dish that left me wanting more. However, I must mention that the service was a bit lacking. The staff seemed a bit disorganized and inattentive, which took away from the overall dining experience.Despite this, I would still recommend this place for its food and ambiance. It's definitely worth a visit if you're looking to try some great dishes in a cozy setting.“
“Hibachi chef was fun and professional. Sushi was lit. Have been three times in last month. Editing this post months later because the manager has messed things up for me. Sweet tea sucked I asked for coke and he charged me for both, asked for hot sauce for rice- never got it, asked for to go box- never got it, and he never stopped at my table besides when I waved him down and he looked annoyed.“
“For hibachi to go, you cannot beat this place. It's a special stop anytime I'm working on this side of town. I add a healthy amount of chili sauce for some kick. The portions are large and will fill you up. Price is less than most fast-food spots.“
“This place was absolutely amazing! Our server was super nice and checked on us frequently. The food is ultra fresh and tasted divine. The next time we come out we will have to bring the kiddos and experience the hibachi part. Worth every penny we spent on it.“
“We ordered delivery from Tokyo Sushi and really enjoyed it. The sushi was fresh and tasty, and the chicken hibachi was very good as well. My sister recommended this place because it was close to her office and she ate here frequently. She said the service was always good and the restaurant is pretty inside. I look forward to dining in person next!“
“Dalton was my server and he was so great! I’m seriously so impressed by the young adults here. The hostess is so sweet, the one other server on the floor is a sweetheart and so good at serving too, and dalton was so professional. Whoever does the hiring- you picked good ones. I will be back with my family often! Food was great too!“
“I have never dined in the restaurant or went to the buffet so I can't judge that part. However the customer service and food has always been good. My favorites are the sweet potato tempura, shrimp tempura and the spicy crab meat salad.“
“Met a friend for lunch at Hokido yesterday and it was great. They have a large lunch menu. We both had the sashimi bento box and really enjoyed it. A good amount of food for $18. We frequented the sushi place that was in this spot before and I’m so glad Hokido is here to fill the void. Can’t wait to come back to dine at Hokido again!!“
“The food was good, but portions could be a little more. They give samples on chicken so that you should can determine what you like. They are the first ones coming off Escalater in the food court. We walked down and tasted the others just to be sure. They had similar selection. Their eggrolls looked burned or overcooked, cheese Rangoon seemed to well done as well. It's $8.99 plus tax for 2 meats and 1 side. I would go back.“
“Food was very tasty, I got the bowl. With fries and coleslaw. Spicy. Service was quick only took a few minutes to get my order after placing it at the register. Ambiance was okay, it was more in the open. Only things is I wish the tenders were bigger.“
“Pleasantly surprised in our search for our new go-to take out Chinese restaurant since we moved to Georgia last year. This restaurant has a foot in three separate worlds.. Japanese, Chinese, and Georgia (focus on wings). Their sauces on their Asian dishes reflected the blended origins and I liked their slightly modified Teriyaki sauce. We had two orders of the House Special Yakisoba Bowl which includes shrimp, chicken, beef and vegetables on top of noodles. I liked this dish a lot. The vegetables were cooked about right, not too mushy and not too raw. Shrimp and chicken were good for a fast food place. While reasonably tasty, the beef was a little tough. My preference when working with similar cuts of beef is to slice it thinner or even julienned and cooked quickly. The dish was cooked to medium well and next time I would order it medium. We order one order of Hibachi Chicken which came on a bed of rice instead of noodles. My wife liked the rice and I liked the noodles better, both were lightly to moderately flavored that balanced the items on top. We all had chicken egg rolls which were pretty good. We will try this place a couple of more times before it becomes our go-to, but it is our number one so far. I hope they can match this visit in the future.By the way, the folks behind the counter where we paid and picked up were friendly and very pleasant on this trip. The counter area and eat-in areas were clean and decorated with an oriental theme without going to extremes.Parking: Parking on two sides of the building with the drive through and pickup lane closer to the building itself.“
“I'm in my memories of my favorite places and they definitely make the list. I've frequented this location. Dining in and takeout, I've always been satisfied with my meal. During COVID, I wore them out because I ate here often. The yum yum garlicy butter sauce is good. My favorite are the bowls (chicken and/or shrimp) ? #“
“My fiancé and I stopped by during our walk and went inside to grab dinner. The gentleman who greeted us was incredibly polite. The 2 chicken hibachi meals food we ordered were delicious and incredibly well priced. Thank you for a great dinner experience!“
“Excellent tasty food, prepared fresh to order, consistent very good quality. Their ginder salad dressing is out of this world. Portions are perfect, plenty of food but no too much. We go there nearly every weekend and highly recommend Fugo to friends.Parking: Plenty of parking very near the restaurant“
“I order grubhub from here all the time and I'm always so happy . They are my comfort food. Their miso soup is one of my favorites out of multiple places. The order is always packed tightly and carefully. I absolutetly love it here and if you don't like going out, ordering from them is always a win! <3 plus the food is “
“Great food. Order is always ready when I arrive. I really appreciate that the staff will go through the order with you to make sure everything is there. This is very helpful when you have a big order for a family with multiple appetizers and entrees for each person.“
“Reserved the hibachi grill for my daughters birthday, and we really enjoyed it. The hostess was friendly and prompt. Our server made sure to note allergies, and the cooks were entertaining and accommodating. The food was delicious, with great portions and prices. My daughter has been asking to return ever since, so the mission was definitely accomplished.Parking: Plenty of parking free lotKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with kids menu“
“I got the wings and fries and omg. I can’t even… my mouth is watering looking at the pic I’m remembering the flavor explosion Lolll. But really thought the wings were real big, juicy, and flavorful. Fries were crispy and delish. Customer service was great per usual. Def recommend!!!“
“First off, the area is sketchy. Nevertheless, the staff was super kind! The establishment is family-owned and specializes in authentic Japanese cuisine. Prices are super affordable! I ordered a vegetable roll and some nigiri. My food was good, but the fish was definitely of lower quality. My friend had ordered a California roll and said it was the best he'd ever had. My other friend ordered spring rolls, which came out piping hot and super fresh! The storefront is very lackluster and has a few tables. There is no inviting ambiance, but the space was definitely very clean. The menu has awesome variety, and even a few unique Japanese dishes one does not often find, like sesame balls with red bean paste!“
