“A unicorn of a restaurant, fine dining far outside of Metro Atlanta. It's a small, beautiful space eating less than 40 in downtown historic Madison. Prefix or a la carte menu offerings. Good variety of choices with a consistent culinary style. Service is Hands-On, knowledgeable, personable and friendly. Remarkable wine list and a full bar. Not in everyday restaurant, but should be top of the list for any special event in the lake oconee area. Nothing compares without a drive of at least an hour or more.”

“Crowes did me and my wife’s wedding and they did a amazing job! Hands down the best bbq I have ever had and the brisket was incredible! Will for sure use Crowes for any event I do! Mason and his crew was awesome and their crew of servers and bartenders were very professional and polite!”

“We visited Oconee Coffee Roasters yesterday while in Madison, Ga., one of our most favorite day trips from Atlanta. This time though, we discovered the greatest authentic coffee shop right there in Madison. And my husband grew up on a coffee farm in Kenya, so he knows and recognizes great coffee ! We had the Oconee Blend in a cappuccino. The owner told us we would be pleased, and that was an understatement ! The Oconee Blend is truly outstanding. It has a pure, gentle, exciting taste, even better than our usual Illy Classico. We can’t wait to revisit these great people, who brew absolutely incredible coffee from part Ethiopian, part Colombian. beans. Thank you. Michael and Mary from Atlanta”

This was a hit with me. I will be back. If I could offer any advice, it would be to freshen up the decor and brighten the place up a little. My review is based on the food. “Went there to pick up paper towels while on vacation. I just so happened to have an ingrown toenail so I asked the lady cashing me out if they advised anything. She asked the pharmacist who not only recommended local places I can go, but gave me a card telling me if I get there soon she will get it filled right away for me. What an awesome experience. Can’t say enough nice things about ALL the employees there. Will be back next vacation! Awesome, awesome, awesome!”

“Ate here for dinner with some family members while returning home from Augusta. Our meal which consisted of fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, biscuits and coleslaw was delicious. The restaurant was pristine and clean while the employees were cordial and kind. A good experience.”

“The ingredients were very fresh and the egg rolls may have been the best I’ve ever had! It’s a small dining room but very clean. And I especially appreciated the clean restroom! It was fully stocked including Lysol and disinfectant wipes and almost sparkled!? That may sound silly but if they put that much effort in their restroom, I can only imagine how clean their kitchen is!! We will definitely be back and recommend them to friends. Pleasantly surprised!”

“Recently had a family reunion at Hard Labor State Park had Cracker Barrel Carter the event. Food was delivered in timely manner, food was excellent, didn't the first complaint, only problem turned out to be to many left overs because of no shows. Would highly recommend Cracker Barrel as the caterer for an upcoming event.”

“Never had a bad experience friendly staff but I order a 4 for 10 roast beefs along with a French dip.meal was not good got home French dip meal bread stale no frys and warter down soda the 4 for 10 was good but I was the only customer at the counter how you forget frys and why your French dip bread stale and your soda warter down and the tea soured it not worth spending money anymore eating out I give up on Madison resterants not telling Noone not to stop here just my experience”
