“I Recently moved to North Augusta. A friend from Savannah called to tell me about McNeelys Place. What a treat my first visit was. Homemade Chicken Pie, collard greens, wonderful Mac and cheese and good cornbread. Even the tea was great. I felt like I had stepped back in time and was eating at my Mothers table. “We absolutely adore Sno-Cap! My husband and I have been going there since we were children. The food is always incredible, waitresses are always kind, and it has the perfect vibes all around. It just feels like home!

“We had reservations and were seated about 10 minutes after arrival. Our waiter was Brandon and do a great job. Salads as always were very good. My wife had the tenderloin medallions and shrimp and I had the flounder and shrimp. Both were good but not crazy about their fried shrimp. Steak and flounder were very good. Only disappointment was they were out of crab claws.“

“Stopped in here for lunch today and was not disappointed! I had a torta (like a panini) called the Fatty Watty. It has pulled pork, strawberry bacon jam, bacon pieces, and shredded cheese. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and savory. You can get it with elote corn salad or fresh fruit- I opted for the fruit and sprinkled it with Tajin and let me tell you something- what a spectacular meal so full of flavor and very filling! I’ll definitely be back and I’ll bring friends. The menu is super creative and though seating inside is limited, it’s definitely worth the trip! Next time I’ll save room for dessert- the dulce de leche empanadas sound great!“

“I visited The Patio for the first time yesterday, and I was truly impressed! From the moment I walked in, Toni made me feel so welcome. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful behind the bar. She took the time to explain the menu and drink specials in detail, which I really appreciated.

The food was excellent—I had the cheeseburger, and it was surprisingly flavorful in every bite. The drinks? Amazing! Not only did they taste great, but they were also beautifully presented. What shocked me the most was finding out it was Toni’s first day behind the bar—she’s usually in the kitchen! You never would’ve guessed. She crafted each drink with a perfect balance of alcohol and mixers like a seasoned pro.

“Pro tip, pack an extra pair of pants. In case you get a hole in one. I was a bit leery to eat anything with bogeys but the slimey texture of the Reubens was actually quite delicious. Bogeys was really quite engrossing. If I had nose I would have drove my Lambogreeny. The price was reasonable too, it snot much. Outside the regular bogeys though it was slim pickings. But this Bogey has really stuck around! If you are bad at golf don't worry .. join the club. And on Saturday nights supposedly all the golfers go ... clubbing.What are you waiting fore? “I went here for Sunday brunch with my partner and even though they were extremely busy we were sat immediately because we were okay with sitting at the bar. I got the sweet potato pancakes with a side of biscuits and gravy which were both delicious. The ONLY even *slight* complaint I have is that by the time I ate my first pancake and went to eat the biscuits they were cold. That could be entirely user error though- I'm unaware of how long it took me to eat my pancake. I would go here again any day.“

“Yes after 40+ years we could ALL use a make over...but its also part of the unique atmosphere that Villa Europa. It's old enough to have 1000s of memories. I have eaten there numerous times over my 55+yrs ? I have never been disappointed in the food nor the service. I know space is limited but it's hard to cut ur steak when the chairs are so close together u all have to agree to use only your right hands to cut & eat. “My wife and I stopped by to get breakfast in between doctors appointments and though the restaurant was extremely busy we were lucky enough to get a CLEAN booth right away!!
