“After reading the reviews we had to visit. I had the chicken salad. We’re from England and the chicken was shredded and in some kind of sauce, almost like a coronation chicken, not what I expected but nice enough. Service was rushed, I felt like this lunchtime the waiter was just trying to serve as many people as he could. As he cleared our plates he told us he was bringing the bill. Not quite the leisurely experience we are used to but glad we visited non the less.“

“I Recently moved to North Augusta. A friend from Savannah called to tell me about McNeelys Place. What a treat my first visit was. Homemade Chicken Pie, collard greens, wonderful Mac and cheese and good cornbread. Even the tea was great. I felt like I had stepped back in time and was eating at my Mothers table. The dining rooms were attractive and spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. We met the cook who was delightful in addition to being talented. I brought home a box of delicious vegetables. Already planning my next visit.“

“Tuesday night was my first time going and it was a great experience! When we had gotten there, they had just gotten slammed. Every seat was busy we went into order and we were greeted and taken care of with no long wait. They were short staff but the girls working the front were handling it so well all while positive. They let people know it may be a wait but everyone seemed ok because of how well the girls handled it. The food came out rather quick for what i expected. Everything was hot and delicious! I was very impressed and never felt we were getting poor service or food. Can’t really to come back and try again. Again, bravo to the girls waiting and who ever was making the food.“

“The loaded tots were my favorite of the things we tried. Very good! I had a pineapple mango cider that was great as well. We were a little disappointed because they were out of hamburger patties. Ufortunately we could not try the burger we really wanted. We will definitely go back again though. It does get pretty crowded. Would have loved to sit outside on the patio but we took the next available table inside. It didn't appear that they asign a waiter or waitress to certain tables. You just get checked on and order from who ever is coming by. Seemed a little odd but we got everything we needed and our check was right. Will definitely go back again.“

“Multiple television screens with an enthusiastic crowd watch Georgia and Alabama battle for bragging rights across the gridiron. There were comments where I could not hear myself think as the ruckus went out of control as a Georgia player intercepted a carelessly thrown pass. The food never fails to be hot and delicious. I devoured the smokehouse burger with fries while my Wife enjoyed a grilled chicken sandwich and fries. We went for the simple palate pleasers even though Doc's offers a wide range of delectable morsals to soothe the taste buds of some of the most finicky eaters this community offers. And yeah, you wanna drink, yes, do so until you need an Uber of Lyft, don't say I didn't tell you to call a friend or bring a designated driver. The wait staff is energetic and adds to the venue's casual decorum. Take cash unless you like paying extra for using your credit cards. Our server was Savannah, she was certainly earning her tips and I don't think she was chilly despite the shorty shorts she was sporting as I think many eyes were enjoying the view when they weren't focused on the game.“

“This is one of my favorite lunch spots. Service is always at least a 4/5. I usually get the California Club Chicken Salad (i think thats the name of it). And its amazing. I add cheese - its so much better. When its nice out, the patio is fantastic to sip a glass of pinot grigio and eat chat with friends. It's also a great happy hour spot with fast service and good drinks.“

“Our first time to visit ND we will go back. The food was delicious, the staff that took our orders were great and the guy that kept us happy was terrific. He gave us the best table service I can remember in a long time ! Wish I had remembered his name. He had made chocolate chip cookies that morning and gave one to my two greatgrandsons to have after they ate their food, which they did. He was very kind and did such a good job. I recommend this place if you are new to the area or going through Augusta ! I give it a 10 !“

“Stop for a (hopeful) quick bite to eat on our drive home. Food was great, service was awesome. There was a mixup with our food and one of the meals came out way later than the rest of our food but our server was right on top of it and was very polite and nice. It was a great meal even with the small mishap.

“The steakhouse bacon burger was amazing!!! The fries A1 the wings were crispy I had the honey lemon pepper omg the best wings I’ve tasted so far in Augusta!!! Will definitely come back and will probably be right back the same day I’m a small girl but that’s the first time I ate my whole burger it was that good!! I didn’t even get a chance to get a picture but I will make sure to get one next time.“

“Stopped in here for lunch today and was not disappointed! I had a torta (like a panini) called the Fatty Watty. It has pulled pork, strawberry bacon jam, bacon pieces, and shredded cheese. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and savory. You can get it with elote corn salad or fresh fruit- I opted for the fruit and sprinkled it with Tajin and let me tell you something- what a spectacular meal so full of flavor and very filling! I’ll definitely be back and I’ll bring friends. The menu is super creative and though seating inside is limited, it’s definitely worth the trip! Next time I’ll save room for dessert- the dulce de leche empanadas sound great!“

I got a plate that I saw on their page, the wings, macaroni, and collard greens w/ cornbread and everything was truly delicious. The collard greens was spicy but I’m from the Caribbean so it didn’t phase me. I love everything about the taste. Wouldn’t mind trying it again. “I will start in reverse. The food, cocktails and appetizers were delicious. The waiter and bar staff " Top Shelf". The cleanliness and restaurant theme decor, on point. Now, this is where I have a problem. Ive eaten at restaurants all over the world, I have adhered to many dress codes. A 600.00 Cowboy hat is part of a look that is acceptable in many fine dining restaurants all over the Country. To embarrass someone and tell someone to remove a hat, due to a poorly posted " No hat Policy " is ridiculous. Its not like a ratty, sweat band crusted Masters Baseball cap or similar. This is why I'll take our 300.00 + dollar dining elsewhere, not for lack of food but character.“

“Pro tip, pack an extra pair of pants. In case you get a hole in one. I was a bit leery to eat anything with bogeys but the slimey texture of the Reubens was actually quite delicious. Bogeys was really quite engrossing. If I had nose I would have drove my Lambogreeny. The price was reasonable too, it snot much. Outside the regular bogeys though it was slim pickings. But this Bogey has really stuck around! If you are bad at golf don't worry .. join the club. And on Saturday nights supposedly all the golfers go ... clubbing.What are you waiting fore? “I visited The Patio for the first time yesterday, and I was truly impressed! From the moment I walked in, Toni made me feel so welcome. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful behind the bar. She took the time to explain the menu and drink specials in detail, which I really appreciated.

The food was excellent—I had the cheeseburger, and it was surprisingly flavorful in every bite. The drinks? Amazing! Not only did they taste great, but they were also beautifully presented. What shocked me the most was finding out it was Toni’s first day behind the bar—she’s usually in the kitchen! You never would’ve guessed. She crafted each drink with a perfect balance of alcohol and mixers like a seasoned pro.

That being said the noise level wasn't too bad. The decor was simple, and everything was super clean. One member of our group tried the fried bologna. “My first time going, and the customer service was amazing. The atmosphere was spot on. I got the French toast with cheese grits. I'm from the south so when you somewhere you expect the cheese grits to be blah... BUT NO.. Their cheese grits had so much flavor they were amazing. I ordered 2 lemon drops to drink, and the bartender made them to my specifications with lemonade and simple syrup to make sure they were extra sweet. The best part however was the attitude and consideration of our server, Madeline. It was clear from the beginning that she cared about our experience and was attentive to every detail. I so appreciate someone who works so hard to be the best representation of themselves no matter what they are doing. Cracker Barrel, Evans Ga, should consider themselves blessed to have such a conscientious server as they do in Madeline. If there was a fifth star, she would certainly deserve it!“

“Very very good! Visiting from NC for a wedding. Googled restaurants and this place came up. Checked the reviews. Just like they said. Fantastic! Very impressed by this little gem in the strip center. Server was great too. Suggested the garlic knots. Have left overs for breakfast so I was full. Met the owner and he gave us garlic knots to take home. Thank you guys for adding to our great visit to Grovetown! Told my family that was on honeymoon. They said “oh ya, they are good”“

I know space is limited but it's hard to cut ur steak when the chairs are so close together u all have to agree to use only your right hands to cut & eat.
