“I Recently moved to North Augusta. A friend from Savannah called to tell me about McNeelys Place. What a treat my first visit was. Homemade Chicken Pie, collard greens, wonderful Mac and cheese and good cornbread. Even the tea was great. I felt like I had stepped back in time and was eating at my Mothers table. The dining rooms were attractive and spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. We met the cook who was delightful in addition to being talented. I brought home a box of delicious vegetables. Already planning my next visit.“

“We absolutely adore Sno-Cap! My husband and I have been going there since we were children. The food is always incredible, waitresses are always kind, and it has the perfect vibes all around. It just feels like home!

“We had the USDA prime steak specials both times we visited during Masters Week and they were cooked superbly. Our servers on both occasions were excellent. Would be good if the wine list was updated to include some better wines and to include the vintage year of existing wines in the list. Air conditioning was way too cold on our second visit.“

“I ordered catering for the 4th of July wknd. Everyone I dealt with was prompt and respectful. We ordered several racks of ribs to feed 45-50 ppl. They were AMAZING! ALL of my family & guests raved about them. The gentleman who delivered them was so sweet. They came hot and ready. I kept them warm until we were ready to eat and the quality didn't diminish. They were a little spicy (perfect!). Lots of flavor, moist and tender. I will definitely be ordering ribs and more from them going forward.“

“Stopped in here for lunch today and was not disappointed! I had a torta (like a panini) called the Fatty Watty. It has pulled pork, strawberry bacon jam, bacon pieces, and shredded cheese. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and savory. You can get it with elote corn salad or fresh fruit- I opted for the fruit and sprinkled it with Tajin and let me tell you something- what a spectacular meal so full of flavor and very filling! I’ll definitely be back and I’ll bring friends. The menu is super creative and though seating inside is limited, it’s definitely worth the trip! Next time I’ll save room for dessert- the dulce de leche empanadas sound great!“

“I don’t know what was in the “Belly Juice” but I love it. It tasted so good! Honestly, this my first time trying them, as I happen to come across their page on Facebook. . I got a plate that I saw on their page, the wings, macaroni, and collard greens w/ cornbread and everything was truly delicious. The collard greens was spicy but I’m from the Caribbean so it didn’t phase me. I love everything about the taste. Wouldn’t mind trying it again. The location is sort of the in the cut type of way; but once you walk into the establishment, you’ll feel at home. . 🤎“

“Pro tip, pack an extra pair of pants. In case you get a hole in one. I was a bit leery to eat anything with bogeys but the slimey texture of the Reubens was actually quite delicious. Bogeys was really quite engrossing. If I had nose I would have drove my Lambogreeny. The price was reasonable too, it snot much. Outside the regular bogeys though it was slim pickings. But this Bogey has really stuck around! If you are bad at golf don't worry .. join the club. And on Saturday nights supposedly all the golfers go ... clubbing.What are you waiting fore? “I am a weekly visitor here with family. The food is delicious. And all the waitresses are very friendly, and always take good care of us. Even memorizing what we order.
My only complaint is 9 times out of 10, they always have all the fans going. I know I’m just getting around to writing this review during the summer. So that makes sense, and is ok this time of year.

“Yes after 40+ years we could ALL use a make over...but its also part of the unique atmosphere that Villa Europa. It's old enough to have 1000s of memories. I have eaten there numerous times over my 55+yrs ? I have never been disappointed in the food nor the service. I know space is limited but it's hard to cut ur steak when the chairs are so close together u all have to agree to use only your right hands to cut & eat.
