“I’ve driven by this place countless amount of times, and never tried it. I finally did, and you should too.

The first thing you notice when you walk in, is how clean the place is. Even the bathroom was impressive. I’ve never seen a small chain take over a spot and actually improve it. This place cares about service.

The food was great! It was most surprising with how much food I got for so cheap. I ordered a fish sandwich at 2 in the afternoon, and it was made at 2 in the afternoon. Freshly cooked, and great!“

The people are so nice! Doesn't take much to please me as a customer, clear communication. That's all. Which they did and threw in some beautiful smiles while they were at it. They saw me waiting outside in the heat and offered me a free meal and drink! Let me come in a little before opening time. I was waiting for them to open before I walked my way back home and I was so dehydrated and Walmart's drink machines swallowed my dollar and gave me nothing. Not even my money back. The food was delicious! I had the three piece whiting combo with fries and hush puppies! I ate every bite! Their tartar sauce *chef's kiss*. I drank Mango or peach juice mixed with lemonade. Beautiful fresh flavor. They even gave me a free refill on my way out. They were more than generous, they were a blessing for me. Will definitely return someday.“

“This is my second time. I really love the turkey neck bones. Flavored perfectly, and tender. I like how well the fries are cooked, hot and fresh and crunchy. The shrimp poboy is okay and the whiting. No photos because those turkey necks were too damn good 😀“

“I have been to this particular Captain D's several times in the past two months and every time the food is fresh and hot. That is why I went back the other night and had such a great customer service experience with Michael who took my order. He was so kind and very professional and he sounded like he was glad to take my order. He provided me with customer service that is definitely the exception and not the rule these days. When I pulled around to the window to pay for my food I was smiling and I felt good. As I received my food I thanked him and the two ladies that were there for their kindness. “Greeted upon entering, clean environment, vibe was awesome. My son had Teriyaki whole wings with LP sprinkles with okra. I had Hot LP catfish, loaded fries, and a milkshake! Everything was on point! I do recommend Frozen Rooster!“

“Okay, I had no true plans to enter but the music and man sitting outside, created an atmosphere that was welcoming. The young man at the front that took the order is an introvert (which is okay). He was kind and let me review my order before leaving.
I got one of each patty, jerk chicken and wings. It was great food. The plantains were hands down my favorite of all local spots I’ve tried.
If I had to give any feedback, it was warm inside (reminded me of being home in PR) but still warm. The rice didn’t taste fresh but it was still good.
