“I’m not sure if this place is new or if I just never noticed it in the plaza but so glad I tried it ! This place is more similar to a self-serve restaurant. Chowbus QR codes are on the tables to order and pay, water station is complimentary, and there is a counter to grab to-go containers, utensils, and napkins. The decor inside feels like I’m on a C-drama set following a cute modern couple.

Food-wise, I will definitely be coming back for the cucumber salad, chicken skewers, and malatang! The Chinese skewers taste similar to ones you’d get at a Chinese skewer spot or skewer hot pot place. The beef malatang flavor reminds me of satay flavor, especially with the peanut dipping sauce. (Not the usual malatang flavor but still very delicious) The braised beef noodles were okay for me but you get a hefty portion of the beef. (I personally prefer this type of soup paired with the Chinese pickled mustard greens, iykyk) The portions here are generous so come hungry ? I didn’t order boba here like some people did just because I wanted to try the food here and there are other boba options nearby. But overall, great place to eat on a rainy or cold day !“

“I moved to the area almost 2 years ago and have come here at least once every other week, sometimes more. I'm usually by myself and they are so kind to me. They know my order by heart now and always prepare it perfectly. I always get extra spicy everything with an extra entree to go home for lunch the next day. They always have it packaged up and ready to go when I pay my bill. That even started making spicy soy sauce to go with my dumplings. I love it here“

“I love this place! We buy lunch for our crew on Fridays and this is definitely a favorite. The food is great and the restaurant is clean too. The lady at the counter is soooo sweet! The hibachi is excellent and their yum yum sauce is my favorite! I get the Philly or the gyro from there as well. I have never been disappointed!“

Presentation of food is excellent and everything ordered was hot, fresh, and bursting with balanced flavors. So many tasty choices!!! They came by my table and asked if I needed anything, and brought me to go boxes with no problems. A must go for date night, especially if you want to try something new.“

“We love the carry out option at this Tin Drum. One of the fastest to get the food out and the flavors are pretty consistent. Never disappoints but while they are adding a large variation into the menu the "shrinkflation" is fairly obvious and quantities are going down.“
