“We moved to Buford Ga 5 years ago from NYC and if you’re from NYC you know Chinese food is a staple. We’ll let me just say Friends House is the only Chinese food that has come close to feeling like home. We love the beef and broccoli, pork fried rice and so many other things. The owners and staff are always pleasant and welcoming. I highly recommend eating here. Takeout or dine in.“

“Went here for lunch. They have a lot of super healthy options! I got the Yum Yum Bowl which has chicken, steak, healthy veggies and even pineapple. It’s not cheap tho. The cost of a plate, a drink and a 10% tip was $22.00. They do have a cool iPad kiosk system where you just click what you want and pay and then either take it to go or dine in.“

“We stopped by the place over the past weekend and I can truly say we are glad that we did. The food smelled so great, we forgot to take pictures of it for the review. After watching a review about this place, my boyfriend and I made a planned to stop by. This place has fresh new items each week to sell. You could truly tell each dish was made freshly by hand. “Food here is excellent! It’s my new favorite place to grab sushi. Their Chinese is phenomenal also! The wife and kids love coming here and enjoying a good meal together. The staff is super friendly and the manager is always walking around and checking in. They bring out little cakes at the end (which are so tasty). I can honestly say we haven’t had a bad experience since we’ve been going here. Highly recommend to others!“

“We've been here many times and the food is always excellent. The only reason I'm giving a four star is because we let them know that my wife had a shellfish allergy that she ordered the egg foo young and it came with shrimp in it. They resolve the issue without any fuss and gave us a complimentary dessert. I know mistakes happen and I would recommend anybody to come to this place if we live closer we would be here more often. All our other times here have been five star experiences.“

“My husband and I are delighted to find this little gem within walking distance from our home. We ordered Pad Thai with shrimp and Pad Me Ew with pork and both were delicious. The shrimp was a little tough but still quite good. I give 4.5 stars for food and for extremely attentive and friendly wait staff. We will be back to try the hibachi soon.“

“To start with i ordered cold sake and some fried dumplings they were awesome second i ordered a plate with diferent varieties of raw sushi and cooked sushi that dish was to die for the attention was excelent i believe this is a great restaurant and most definately i will be coming back. And the desert was awesome mochi icecream very good

Update january 2021 lady godiva and casanova sushi are the bomb......

Update I visited on January 4 2026 the sizzling rice soup was not good at all not like it used to be the veggies were raw the soup was cold“

“So far never disaapoint and i’ve tried them so many times, in person and online orders, all are amazing! The flaming potato with spicy mayo and mozzarella + beef hot dog is always my favorite! I’ve never regretted spending my money here!“

“Ordered some Thai food for me and my wife. Both saim vegetables with tofu and red curry with vegetables and tofu were excellent. I ordered take out..food was ready on time and hot..it was packed with care. The portions are good we ended up eating twice from one order. Have eaten inside before as well..ambience is not terrible or great just okay. But food is top notch.“

“The food was great and my wife enjoyed her meal (she's been waiting months for some sushi) after delivering at the hospital.

The manager was extremely professional and took great care of us. We had a small issue with our order and they did everything they could to make it right; I'm very thankful for their professionalism and communication. This is the exact kind of business I want to support.“

“I order from your Cumming location at least 1x/week for my family through door dash. Tonight, the menu on DoorDash was incomplete, only listing side items. I called the store and they said they would fix it, but didn’t. So I had to order our entire meal as side items. There were no options listed for sauces. So I called the store to ask for 1 additional sauce (menu cost $1.50). The store manager, Leah, refused, even as I explained that I wasn’t able to order sauces on DoorDash. I will not be ordering from your establishment going forward. That’s terrible customer experience. I’d suggest hiring customer-focused managers.“
