“This new restaurant deserves every five star review! We came here for a date night and absolutely loved it! I am not typically a very adventurous eater or a seafood lover, so I initially found the menu to be daunting. I ended up taking a leap of faith and trusting the chef to know what he's doing, and I do not regret it one bit! I'd happily eat anything off the menu here, which not something I'd easily say about any restaurant. This was by far one of the most delicious meals we've had in years. The service, cocktails, atmosphere, and food were all on point. The presentation was absolutely beautiful. Cocktails were amazing and well executed (loved the Gin'tle Kiss cocktail). Food was fresh, vibrant, and delicious. We particularly enjoyed the Bayou Fish. Everyone go support this new restaurant - you will NOT be disappointed! We will definitely be back!“

“On 8/12/2024, I and my niece went to Hugo’s Oyster Bar for Dinner. She had been there before and thought I would enjoy eating a meal there. She lives in the area I’m from New Jersey and was on my way to Huntsville, Alabama on business.
I could have flown into Huntsville through Charlotte but chose to fly into Atlanta in the hope I would be able to spend a few hours visiting my niece before driving to Huntsville.
Hugo’s Oyster House was a real treat. My niece knew the staff, she introduced me. We took our seats the waiter was a friend of hers and treated us like family. They spoke about what they were doing outside of work.
The waiter brought the menu and gave us time to peruse the menu to decide what we wanted.
I had the Praline Crusted Salmon
brussels sprouts, roasted sweet potatoes, bourbon glaze. Wow, it was so delicios . I do not remember my nieces order.
We had a nice time catching up. The waiter would come by to ask if we needed anything else.
We ordered a dessert to share, and got a dessert to take back to her home. All in all we had a lovely dining experience it was a great experience.

Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to shrimp; the waiter made sure that there would be no cross contamination using common pots or oil used on my food.

Parking: Parking was free and sufficient.“

“I just visited Oceans And Acre at Halcyon, Alpharetta, GA today, for brunch and was amazed by the service and quality of food. The manager on duty was phenomenal! I wanted a quick bite before a business meeting, and he offered several options that really hit the spot, and was tailored to my personal taste palette. Following his lead the bar tender then crafted a well deserved concoction that perfectly complimented my meal. “I liked the atmosphere of the place. Every table has a place to have bbq if you want. We ordered from the lunch menu. I had the sirloin and tonkasu. It was awesome. My wife spicy pork with vegetables and seafood tofu soup. It was okay. The pork was a bit fatty, and the soup was over salty. The service was really good, and we will definitely be back to try the bbq.“

“We had a big party here and our server was doing a fabulous job. It was just her for our large tables so I asked the bartender if I could order a glass of wine from him. He told me I needed to wait for my waitress. I then see him bring a cocktail to a man at our table. What would you call this? The food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend coming here for sure. Next time I’ll dress like a man so the bartender will serve me.“

“The quality of the food is top notch. The facility has a cool vibe to it with the high ceilings, open kitchen, and large bar. Iirc, the wine racks are a throwback to the original FSE. Our waitress Nei (sp?) really knew the menu and made great recommendations on pairings of food. The seating area is rather open and can be noisy. The portions are appropriate for your meal, and there were no leftovers at our table. Prices are on par with other restaurants of this caliber. Plenty of free parking right behind the restaurant. We will be back. 💯“

“Village Tavern is the best restaurant for the money. Everything is very good. We have been to fancy steak houses that cost 3 -4 times as much but we now just pick Village Tavern. The service is fantastic and the food is always great. We drive 45 minutes just to go to the Village Tavern and it is worth it every time. Brunch is awesome and the Prime rib is fantastic.“

“Jason and I just had probably one of the best restaurant experiences and food I’ve ever had! We started with goats cheese appetizer, followed by a delicious Caesars salad. I ordered a center cut filet with scallops as my main course. Jason had the New York strip. We shared broccoli and fingerling potatoes as sides. The most amazing part was the bone marrow butter and foie gras butter complementing the steaks. To top it all off we brought home candied pecan bread pudding with Jim Beam sauce. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was so quaint. I truly had an amazing experience!“

“I’m SO glad I found Flatlands. I’ve been in town for a couple days and disappointed with the food experiences thus far. Flatlands negated all of that and put Alpharetta back on the map for me. Everything I had was delectable. I had the catfish nuggets, a garden salad (w/ the the jalapeño ranch), a cocktail and beignets. 10/10. Highly recommend!

“Took my better half here for his Birthday! ( mind you we live in Douglasville and it was ABSOLULEY worth the drive) We started at the bar and grabbed a drink until our reservation time. ( I had a Lemon drop Pineapple Mojito and He had a Bipo Beer) Then we were sat at our table. Had a super awesome server ( so sorry i forgot to write down your name) We started off with a wedge and a French onion soup. We ate about half and the just swapped rather than reaching back and forth over the table!
I got the coffee Filet with the whipped mash potatoes, He got the special - Horseradish Filet, with the au gratin potatoes. The horse radish had juuuust enough kick to taste good without lighting your sinuses on fire. We also got the broccoli, and the gouda mac n cheese to share. The steaks came out perfectly cooked, and sliced like a hot knife through butter. The Broccoli has a garlic butter on it that was delicious. The whipped potatoes were the winner between them and the au gratin ( but still tasty) The mac and cheese had a nice crunch on the top, i cant put my finger on what it needed? salt maybe? but was still yummy. They boxed up the sides for us, and then brought us out 2 glasses of champagne and Crème Brule with candles in it! Good thing we found room in our dessert shelves to eat it, it was smnooth and creamy with a perfect Brule'd crust. We were SO beyond full at that point we went to walk around target. This place is most definitely worth the trip and the money. The service is attentive but not over bearing. Made for quite the birthday experience!“

“Connors has been a longtime favorite of ours. Over the years, we have had several good meals here, with service that often went above and beyond. I know how hard restaurant work is, and I’ve always appreciated the care the staff put in. But our most recent experience left us disappointed. The service was unexpectedly inattentive. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, but our server never returned to refill our glasses. A French fry order was forgotten, and when we asked about it, things seemed to unravel. The server was visibly exasperated. A supervisor eventually stepped in, handled things professionally, and assigned a new server—but by then the mood had shifted. This wasn’t just any lunch—it was a farewell meal with a dear friend leaving town, and I’d hoped for a flawless experience. At over $230, I expected more attentive service. I don’t share this lightly. Connors has been a place we’ve enjoyed many times. But this visit left me disappointed, and I won’t be returning anytime soon. “Visited on Fathers Day. First time. Menu had great options for all budgets, even for kids, and food was cooked well. Service however will likely keep us from returning. At first I was very understanding about how long it took our server to first come to our table, to refill drinks, to bring food, etc because they were clearly full on Fathers Day. But then we noticed other tables coming in long after us, have the same number of courses, and leave long before us. Then we had to ask more than once for sodas and waters to be refilled. We also started noticing that other tables were given bread while waiting for their food, though we did never did. When I pointed it out to the server during dessert, she kindly added some warm bread to our to go bag. Overall it took 1 hr 45 min to be served a Coke, one salad, 4 entrees, and 2 desserts.“

My family and I have eaten here a couple of times since it opened, and each visit has been a uniquely delicious experience. The restaurant offers a 7-course prix fixe menu with rotating options, so you’ll never have the same meal twice. From a perfectly cooked wagyu steak to adventurous dishes like alligator ribs, there’s something for every palate. All produce is sourced directly from the chef’s local farm, which you can really taste in the freshness of every bite.

The service at this elevated dining spot is phenomenal. The staff is warm, professional, and attentive. Jonathan, the owner, is a well-spoken and passionate young man. It’s clear he genuinely cares about every guest's experience. Even if you're not in the mood for a full meal, their open bar is worth a visit on its own. It features a creative variety of original cocktails, and they also offer à la carte bites if you just want a snack with your drink. Plus, there's free valet parking!
