“I eat at Firehouse often but this was by far the best one I have EVER been to. I can't remember my cashier's name (young, red hair, around 1230 on 11/14/23) but she was so amazing. That was the smoothest ordering I have done too. Btwn here and Mrs.Wanda I really enjoyed the politeness and the atmosphere. Not to mention that their meatball sub is amazing! Keep it up Oakwood!“

This is the kind of places Atlanta don't have anymore, local owned, family run and just home made.Run by a sweet couple, apparently they have been running this place almost 2 decades.They have specials on every Friday, a special dish based on what most of their customers request. They have lots of vegetarian options.“

“My favorite chicken salad! All of the flavors I’ve had are very good. My favorite is the sassy scotty and the classic carol. The drive thru is so convenient and my wait time has always been short at this location whether it’s lunch time or dinner time. The staff is always polite. I like the options available. Each serving is a standard scoop size with options for sandwiches and different bread types. The strawberry lemonade is so good!“

So when I found out they were still open, but under new managment I had to see if it was still the same. Yes. They. Were. “I’m a new customer it was my first time trying Jersey Mikes as I am new to Georgia, & The manager Amanda at this store was very professional and kind and recommended a sandwich that I very much enjoyed. It contained all fresh meat and the bread was warm and fresh as well you can just taste it! “Finally a McAlister’s in Gainesville! They have the best soups and sandwiches hands down. I tried the French Dip for the first time on this visit and loved it. My wife got the McAlister’s Club which is what I usually get. Daughter got the Chicken Salad Sandwich and it was really good too. The Broccoli and Cheddar soup was delicious as always. And you cant forget to grab a Brookie for something sweet. McAlister’s also has the best sweet tea around. As far as the restaurant goes, everything was clean, staff was friendly, and food came out in a timely manner. We look forward to returning to this location!“

“Never tried Jersey Mikes before today. I really wanted a good sub sandwich for lunch. Stopped by this location on Dawsonville hwy in Gainesville Georgia as it was as the closest to me. Pass by this store all the time but today was the day I decided to try it. OMG ! I never expected it to be so delicious! I tried the #8 club sub Mikes way and boy am I glad I did. Perfect sandwich !
