The only dining hall I’ve ever been to that the food has actual flavor and is clearly so fresh! You know how dining halls kind of all have the same, taste? (I’ve worked in higher ed for a decade.) This one is stellar, genuinely healthy and fresh, and so tasty. If you’re on campus or in Oxford for some reason, definitely worth a visit for lunch.
My culinary experience at the Oxford College of Emory University dining hall seems to differ day by day. On occasion, the gentlemanly Mr. Rodger and his team of culinary experts provide a wide variety of delectable dishes and savory sides, but this is unfortunately equalized by the periodic lapse in food quality, namely the serving of Tilapia three times a week alongside the virtual disappearance of most food options on weekends, reminiscent of WWII-era Britain.
