Sandwiches are some of the best I’ve ever had. Chicken Alfredo is incredible.
Great place to bring your dog and sit on the back covered patio. Tastefully done and plenty of air flow. Service is always great, food is good and beer is cold.
food was amazing, visiting for a wedding and was looking for lunch and this was the perfect spot as i got a cuban and it was the best choice!

Ana's by the River is easily one of the best sandwich spots, located in charming downtown Rome with plenty of other things to do nearby. The food is excellent, with the olive muffalta sandwich, turkey Rotolo, buffalo chicken rotolo with a jalapeño wrap, and Rosto (like a French dip) as standout choices. Sandwiches and house chips are a hit, the best wings in town, and the chef pasta salad, spaghetti, lasagna, and potato salad are also loved. Portions are well above average, and prices are very reasonable for the size of the sandwich and sides. Seating is somewhat limited inside, but there is a patio and plenty of seating options including indoor and front/back patio areas. The inside is super cute, and the patio gives the feel like you know everyone you're sitting with. A great kids meal is also available. However, do not get water here—it is the worst water at a restaurant, so get a soft drink or something bottled instead. The back patio had 0 ventilation when visited. Overall, the food has not changed in its awesomeness or great flavor over 37 years.
