Fiddlers on St. Simon Island is known for its good food, service, and atmosphere, but there can be a wait time for seating. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including a burger and macaroni, fish tacos, fried green tomatoes, and pork sliders. While the burger was overseasoned and the fish tacos were just average, the macaroni and fried green tomatoes were delicious. The service was generally good, but the wine pours were light. However, the bartender, Bobbi, made up for it with excellent service. The atmosphere is homey, and outside seating overlooks the marshes, offering a scenic view. During busy times, diners often wait about an hour to get in, but the waiting areas are comfortable. Inside, the open floor plan provides good views, though some areas are restricted. The food is consistently praised from starters to mains, with large portions suitable for leftovers. Service is quick and attentive, and the overall experience makes it a place worth visiting again when on the island. The bar service, however, could be improved with more staff, especially on weekends, to better handle drink orders.
