“This is one of our favorite restaurants. We’ve eaten lunch and dinner here several times. The food and service is always great. We consider it a ‘great value’. You get a a very nice meal at a reasonable price. We also like that they take reservations and have their own large parking lot! Very few places in Sandy Springs have either! We highly recommend Zaffron’s to everyone!“

“Bey Mediterranean is an incredible restaurant. The food, service, and ambiance are top notch and the prices are very reasonable. Marc, the owner and chef, cares a lot about his customers and checked on us himself during our meal to see what we thought of the food. I will definitely be back!“

He was so patient with us through our many questions, recommended some excellent menu items and cocktails, and even gave us a list of other restaurants to try while we are in town. “Outstanding food, ambiance AND service! Ameer is the best host! The food is absolutely amazing....the freshly made salads, meats seafood, etc. and the lemonade lime drink Limonana are at another level delicious!!! The lamb chops and filet mignon alone make it worth the all you can eat price. My entire family are I are STILL talking about how good the food was and can't wait to return!!!“

“Hovan is hands down one of my favorite lunch spots in Atlanta. It never disappoints. Somehow they make a basic Greek salad stand out—I can’t explain it, but they do. The cauliflower is simple yet incredible. And their beef/lamb shawarma? That’s my go-to. It’s hard to order anything else.
What I love most is that it feels healthy without sacrificing flavor. Nothing deep-fried or greasy. just real, quality food done right.
The owner is the heart of the place. It’s rare to find spots where the adorable, grandpa like welcoming owner is still everyone’s favorite, but he is. Warm, always smiling, putting a little extra love into each plate. You can tell he genuinely cares about every customer who walks through the door.
10/10, easily one of the best lunch spots in the city. If I don’t have a specific craving, Hovan is my default.“

The staff is friendly and fast, even when the line is long, and everything is super customizable so you always get exactly what you’re craving. “This was my se,9’e time here but let me say. The food is SO fresh! My fiancee and were served by Sam, and he was so polite and professional. He weny above and beyond to give us 5 star service and i truly appreciate it. We got the lamb chops both times and it’s so juicy and succulent. Please don’t sleep on the sauce it comes with!!! Lather it into your lamb chops, it makes the world of difference. Both times my salad were SO fresh! I got the watermelon and feta salad as well as the cucumber salad, I forgot the cultural name but it was SO fresh and enjoyable. I came on a wednesday and it was 50% wine bottles and they actually had Sancerre! It was bright, fresh and gret. The vibes, music, atmosphere and service on the patio during sunset were perfect. I might actually love Atlanta after all, thanks to this place!!!!!!!!! I’ll be back again soon.“

“A fantastic fusion of Turkish and Persian cuisine. I was in Atlanta for a week long trip and was looking for a Turkish restaurant the last day before flying out. I found Banu, it was not in the list of recommended Turkish restaurants that I got from local friends. One I had tried had ended up disappointing for me, so I wanted to give Banu a chance…I am so glad I did.
I tried lentil soup, dolma (yaprak sarmasi in Turkish), a bit of doner, rice, Soltani, and baklava.
Lentil soup was OK, very delicious but not extraordinary.
Yaprak sarmasi was one of finest examples that I tried in USA over my 20 years in the country. It was the vegetarian version (several other regional cuisines, including Turks, also cook a version with meat) with pine kernels, rice, onions and tomato paste. It was the first time I tried this dish with tomato paste, it was very balanced and unique, a fantastic derivative of this ages old dish, an outcome of Kiki, the owner chef of Banu.
My next items was Beef Soltani. Both the koobideh and chenjeh were amazing. Although these are Persian names of the items, the taste was closer to the Turkish derivatives, but also thanks to the magical touch of the chef, they were not overly hot, spicy, or greasy. They were also serves with vegetables and lavaj rather than safran rice as I am used to seeing in other Persian restaurants. You have to order safran rice separately but you really do not have to, especially if you are alone. It comes in a huge plate, like other Persian restaurants, and will be difficult to finish, but it is a very well cooked dish.
As I said, I also tried doner. Its taste is very good with modifications of Kiki. It is not exactly like the best you could find Turkey (and Kiki explained to me why) but one of the better ones I’ve tried in USA, and definitely light years ahead of the doner I tried in another very highly reviewed and recommended Turkish restaurant in Atlanta which I had tried a couple of days ago.
…and baklava, omg!!!! It is one of the best baklava I have tried in USA if not the best and it is at par with the best baklava you can try in Turkey, though I would likely prefer little more butter. Its crunchiness is at the right level, dough is opened as thin as it should be and it is filled with right amount of pistachios. I even asked if it baked in house or imported from somewhere (many Turkish restaurants import their baklava from Turkey or outsource to factories in New Jersey) and they said it is baked in house. Fantastic dessert!!!!
So, were there not any issues, yes of course. Nothing is perfect in life. When I escalated my issue to the chef-owner, Kiki, she just reacted with a big smile and a sincere apology, and offered me an additional serving of baklava and 2 bottles of Uludag gazoz (a Turkish brand of soda).
Verdict…a fabulous experience of Turkish and Persian cuisine as combined by talented touches of Kiki, the chef-owner of Banu.
I am looking forward to my next trip to Atlanta.“

“I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they do.
Our server, Kala, made the experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. She checked on us at the perfect times and made great recommendations that we ended up loving. It’s rare to find service that feels this personal and professional at the same time.
Overall, it was a fantastic meal with outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family!“

“First-time visit, and I’m already a fan! Cafe Sababa offers a cozy café-style ambiance with cool, laid-back vibes — perfect for enjoying a flavorful Mediterranean meal.
Upon walking in, you place your order at the register. If the team is in the back (as they were when I arrived), there’s a little bell to ring for assistance — a nice touch that keeps things flowing.
After browsing the menu, I went with the chicken platter, which came with creamy hummus, a fresh salad, and warm, soft pita bread. I also added a side of chickpea curry soup, and let me tell you — the portion was generous, served hot, and packed with flavor.
Everything tasted fresh, filling, and well-seasoned. The prices were more than fair, and to top it off, bottled water was just $0.50. That’s rare these days!
This family-style Mediterranean spot is a solid yes for me. I felt welcomed, comfortable, and left full and satisfied. Definitely adding Cafe Sababa to my go-to list.“

“Friendly staff, amazing food, and great value! We ordered the Chef’s Platter, and it had everything on it. It was absolutely delicious and plenty for at least six people. It was a good opportunity way to try a bit of everything.
I especially loved the falafel, and you definitely shouldn’t miss the lentil soup and orange cake, they were on a whole different level! The kibbeh was also excellent. The restaurant beautifully blends Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors.
I would highly recommended!“

“I’ve been a customer for years and not sure why I haven’t left a review yet.
This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the Atlanta metro area. The food is amazing, made with care and love by the owner. My go-to order is the mixed gyro and shawarma plate with rice and adding some hot sauce. It’s the best shawarma and gyro that I’ve had in town, and Manna’s sauces are amazing. Plus, each plate is basically 2 meals for me, which makes the cost more efficient.
I couldn’t recommend Merhaba Shawarma enough. I try to stop by myself once a week!“

“There’s a Starbucks, a Bank of America, and a boatload of stores to browse and shop, including the anchor Publix supermarket.
Construction in front of Bank of America on the sidewalk temporarily shut down the entrance in front of Starbucks, so be patient and turn at Peachtree Battle Avenue or before the Chevron gas station“

“Super cute deli style gyro spot. I got the baba ganoush with my lamb gyro and it was perfect. The right amount of smokiness and tang. There were a lot of sides to choose from and I am eager to try them all. Oh and the owners were the sweetest people.“

“We visited on a Friday around 7:30 p.m. The place was mostly empty. Our food took longer than anticipated, but it was worth the wait. For the price, I guess I expected the restaurant to be more clean and welcoming. The establishment is not remarkably tidy--sticky floors, generally disheveled presentation. Food was flavorful and fresh.“

“One of the best beef/lamb shawarmas I’ve had in ATL. I had it with the Zhoug and tzatziki. I’ve read other reviews and my only suggestion is that they should make sure that the food is always fresh - perhaps, how I had it today…and, lower the price a bit so that you’re not walking out with a $20 shawarma. I’ll definitely be back….“
