Ray's on the River Reviews
First time visiting Ray’s on the River, and it definitely won’t be my last. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent, and the food truly stood out. I had a steak that was probably one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. An all-around fantastic experience, and I’m already looking forward to going back.
Enjoyed our birthday brunch for Dad's 83rd Birthday. Great food, quick service. Shout out to our wonderfully patient server, Brianna! 11/2/25

Ray's on the River offers exceptional food and service with a remarkable view of the river. Customers praise the delicious meals, including crab cakes, Shrimp and Grits, and the perfectly cooked scallop risotto that bursts with flavor. The salmon over whipped potatoes is noted for being rich, tender, and beautifully balanced. The upscale atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a date, family dinner celebration, or a casual drink on the patio. The restaurant provides a memorable experience whether for a special occasion or just a casual visit. The staff, including attentive servers like Justin and Bethany, are knowledgeable and go out of their way to make guests feel special. Guests have celebrated anniversaries here, with the staff often recognizing the occasion and even surprising diners with complimentary dishes. The vibe is great, and some guests appreciate the thoughtful service, such as receiving dessert to take home. The view of the river adds to the charm, and some guests enjoy a mini nature walk afterward, making the experience even more romantic. While service is generally excellent, a few reviews mention that it can sometimes be slow or that items like wine might be missed. Overall, Ray's on the River remains well-known for its great food, lovely ambiance, and dedicated staff, making it worth a try for anyone looking for a special dining experience.
