First of all we had reservations; we were told we had to wait nevertheless some other people that were with us made reservations at the same time we did came right in and was given their table. After waiting 30 minutes still no table; ask why I was told that people make their reservations a month in advance well that’s not true. Service was slow. Had reservations but still had to wait a half hour to be seated. Then we waited an hour for our food. When the food came it was cold. The manager said it would take another 15 minutes to heat it up. We asked for a refund and we’re only offered 10%
Perfect way to spend our 33rd Wedding Anniversary! Great food(spinach artichoke was on point, the sea bass melted in our mouth & the cat fish was as if they caught, cleaned, cooked, plated & served!, the peach cobbler n Leopold ice cream was the perfect end to our meal), perfect ambiance, awesome music(Hank Bilal)!

Despite some issues with reservations, the delicious oysters make the almost 2-hour drive worth it. The live music adds to the charm, with the first floor featuring bands and a cover charge, while the second floor offers TV viewing for free. Sadly, the restaurant is closing for renovations, but it's a must-visit for those seeking good food and great jazz music. The best food includes the mac and cheese, shrimp Po'Boy, and collard greens. The amazing musicians on stage and very kind staff make this a divine dining experience.
