The chef patter was good

The onion and mushroom soup was EXCELLENT.

The service was ok. I'm not sure why I need a glass absolutely full of ice in early May, indoors, but they did it TWICE. (photo)

The filet was properly cooked, as was the lobster. The fish fillet was slightly overcooked, and a bit salty.

The vegetables were good, perhaps a bit on the rare side

“Some of the best sushi in the state of Georgia! It was a pleasant surprise for us to find this authentic Japanese place in the middle of Savannah's downtown. We tried a few items and all them were so-so tasty. Miso soup, Mushroom soup, Edamame, Pepper Tuna tataki, Black Angel roll, Sashimi wrap, Spicy Tuna roll with avocado, cucumber and tobiko, but the most delicious roll out of all was the Amazing Tuna roll. It was so good, after we received our food items and tasted them all, we had to order more of Amazing Tuna roll as we couldn't get enough. Service by Jaycen was outstanding. We were very happy to have found this mouthwatering sushi joint and will definitely be back when we visit Savanah again.“

“My brother and I had lunch on 9/11. We both had the Teriyaki chicken, I had the fried rice and my brother the white rice. At the time of our order, I placed a to go order of egg rolls and a side of fried rice. I did not check my to go order and after arriving home I realized no fried rice. My sister picked up the fried rice on the way home from work. I will definitely be back“

“I had a great experience at 17 Sakura. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service from the moment we arrived.

The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every roll was made with high-quality ingredients, and the fish tasted fresh and delicious. The rice was perfectly seasoned, and the portions were generous. I also enjoyed the appetizers, which were prepared well and complemented the meal nicely.

“I visit at least once a week, the sushi is always fresh, the hibachi workers are helpful and kind, and I recommend getting there when they first open for the freshest food and best pricing. Good place for any diet, I think. They have vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, and carnivore selections. I like the beef, the sushi, the hibachi, the sea weed salad, and of course the watermelon!!!!“

“HEIWAS is such a nice little spot with real mom and pop vibes. The owners are super kind and always genuinely happy to see everyone coming in. The service is consistently great and you can tell they truly care about their customers.

“The food was delicious, but the waiter's attitude was terrible. I heard from a friend that they forced us to tip, but I didn't believe it at first. Today, after experiencing it myself, I realized that my friend was right. The service attitude was terrible. They didn't respond when I called them, and they were noisy and rude. As a result, when I went to the front desk to pay, the waiter followed me, asked me to swipe the card, pointed to the tip column and the name column and asked me to sign the tip and my name. The most speechless thing for me was that the lady at the front desk didn't stop them. My God, this is simply a rogue.“
