This place is great! Tons of flavor options and they even offer a discount if you wear a super hero shirt. Staff are friendly and patient while you decide on like 100 flavors. Always a big line, but worth the wait.
I have been meaning to visit Pelican's for some time now. It was hot out so I decided to get some shave ice in the blazing heat. I ordered the Sour Apple flavor and I liked it a lot (it wasn't really sour as I thought it would be). The staff were very friendly and I encourage family, friends, and dog lovers to stop by to try out the large variety of flavors they have to offer--their list is pretty huge. My only complaint is I wish they were open year round. I never thought I'd get another good snoball after leaving Louisiana but this place really does have New Orleans style treaties. The flavors are all so vivid and delicious. The toppings seem endless and I've told my wife that I plan to try every single combination possible. So y'all pray I don't get diabetes ?
