Oxtails were delicious.
Went to this place over the labor weekend and the food did not disappoint! The baked and fried chicken were delicious. The greens and Mac and Cheese were amazing. And so was that sweet potato pie. I would also like to compliment the 2 young ladies that served my friends and I. Their names were Keyanna and Liyah at the Abercorm location.
Great food, down south good cooking and smells good always Hot great service, first time here , definitely recommend to come try thank you for the amazing food

Sisters of the New South - Abercorn St. is a restaurant that serves southern food. The food is very delicious and the prices are reasonable. The baked and fried chicken were delicious. The greens and Mac and Cheese were amazing. And so was that sweet potato pie. The Mac and cheese was amazing. The tea and lemonade was great too. The chicken, mash potatoes & gravy(choice of 3) Mac & Cheese, Collard greens, Lima beans, Lemonade, and Strawberry cake were all delicious. The oxtail dinner with greens, yams, Mac and cheese was delicious, and there was plenty food. The cornbread had great flavor. The food is genuine southern home cooking. The staff and owner were extremely nice and attentive. The owner was kind and attentive. The young ladies working were very friendly and polite, a great display of southern hospitality. The staff offered to fry up some chicken fresh. The care and concern were appreciated. This isn't a full service restaurant and is mostly takeout, but there are tables to sit down and eat. The spot was clean. They are one of favorite restaurant, great food, large portions and excellent service. If a good hearty meal is what you're looking for, look no further. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for good southern cooking.
