“The fried catfish was delicious and the grits were the best I’ve had. The location and outside of the restaurant are unassuming but the food inside was worth visiting for.I was definitely pleasantly surprised having just stopped for lunch while passing through town.“

“I just had some of the best fried shrimp around and they were very large and absolutely delicious. My sides were Cole slaw, hushpuppies, grits. Along with banana pudding and Diet Coke.All for $12.04!!!!!Amazing turnaround for this place. Shrimp and catfish are only served on Fridays for lunch. If they opened on Friday nights, they’d have to hire police for the traffic jam that would happen.“

“Great meat and three style place. Plus sandwiches, salads. Breakfast in the morning. I think the plate lunches are the same every week, but maybe not. If you order off the sandwich counter and it seems to be taking too long, go ask about it. They "forgot" to finish our order and it just sat until we went and asked. At least they offered a dessert.“

“Coming through the city and was starving for some lunch! I saw The Big Chic and.thought I’d give it a try and thank God I did! WOW! When I walked in, everybody was friendly and made for a good atmosphere. Food is incredible. I got the chicken sandwich special. All I have to say is I don’t live near here, but I will be coming back for the food! It’s worth the hour drive!!! WOW Y’all ??“

“Went to Lucy’s on July 3rd and it was amazing. They were super busy so I figured I’d wait a while but the cook Jessica and front girl I can’t remember her name were amazing I received my food in about 15 minutes. My food was perfectly cooked. I will for sure be back and recommend to family and friends. ❤️“

“If you’re up for a little adventure take a short drive to Shady Dale and enjoy a great lunch at Robby and Cindy’s Cafe.They’re only open for lunch (no breakfast Post-COVID).The Cheese Burger and fries meal (includes a drink) and Slop Dog meal (fries and drink) were fantastic!!Looking forward to making Robby and Cindy’s a regular place to frequent for lunch.“
