The owner was nice enough to invite me to try her food, cigars and drinks. The food was delicious. I got to try the fried chicken, Mac and cheese (a little cold) and the collard greens. Fell in love with the corn bread. I got a lemon drop which was part of their $7 Monday special which was good as well. I visited on a Monday and had the Soulfood plate with Catfish, mac n cheese , greens and a cornbread muffin. The food was flavorful, the fish was battered and fried so well and the portions were nice. The pomegranate martini paired perfectly. Great hang spot for your friends or special events.

I've been there a couple of times and I think it's been once or twice that I have been there that the service was not good. The food is okay. Nothing spectacular, but the vibe and the atmosphere were good.
